In my opinion these fall into what I would call "light duty". If you need some that are exposed to weather and sunlight I would look for "marine grade".

I'm looking for a heat gun or hot air gun to work with it, does anyone know the brand of "amtake" heat gun which can variable temperature control?

Are these still flexable after shrinking?

After heat shrinking there is very minimal flex.

Will they work with 14 gauge wire?

Yes. I have used it on 24 to 14 myself.
