Best fish tank sand EVER!
Used for a 20 gal fish tank. YES a fish tank. It’s prewashed and perfect! So pretty and easy to use. It didn’t knock off my water balance at all! It functions for my needs and fits great with my decor! The sand is durable enough to be rinsed and cycled if needed.

Very clean sand! Perfect in my fish tank.
As other comments have stated, this sand is very clean. Poured 100 lbs in my 75 gallon aquarium and filled with a water hose (through a window). Was not cloudy at all. Would definitely recommend!

Great price compared to aquarium sand and very clean.
I love this for my 75 gallon aquarium. I put prewashed aqua soil in nylon bags on bottom of tank then covered it with 2 bags of sand. Did not rinse it but very carefully pumped water into a big plate so as to not cloud the water. Only running a used sponge filter until I set up canister filter but water is clear. This pic taken 24 hours later. I hope the Cory I am moving into this aquarium from my 50 gallon will love it.

Water NOT clear. Good value for online prices.
Like most people here I used in aquarium. I completely don't find it locally where it's supposed to be like $12 so it's not the best value. Yet compared to other sands sold for aquariums, it's still a huge money saver. Mine wasn't crystal clear like most of the reviews here state. It's just inert particulate dust so I don't mind. The dust hasn't settled yet but it has only been 4 hours. I have a lot of sand left over and if I get another tank I will 100% rinse. Cory's seem happy with the grain size. It's standard beige sand. My pygmies hated the previous black galaxy sand color and now I finally see them snoozing on the sand. Does the job. 4.5 stars

I've been using it for my fish tanks and it works great I've also started using it for my hermit crabs and so far it's been great but we'll see.

Wow!!! Now this is quality sand. My pool has never been this clean. Between new sand and a quality vacuum I am set for another summer.

Disappointed
Please make sure you will not return this product. It weighs a lot and cost me $47 is postage. The product is going from Vaughan to Mississauga . Very, very disappointed.
