Is not the usual soft toy u see around and that's why I wanted it for my daughters. So cute and soft ...yes is not big but my girls loved it .

This plush toy measures approximately 8 inches by 8 inches and is half unicorn and half fish! - it also has tiny little wings. The unicorn half is a soft, velvety feel plush with embroidery embellishments - two little jellyfish, a heart on each "cheek" and a heart and crossbones on the chest. The fish half is a shiny, lurex / metallic material, this is also used to highlight the horns and hooves of the unicorn. My only real concern would be if this lurex material caught on anything because experience from other toys suggests that the whole lot can quickly unravel.Apart from that, my daughter really likes it, it's just the right size to carry around. It has a strong anime look, so if that's your thing, it should appeal. The story about how the mermicorno's came into being is on the card tag attached to the toy. We nearly didn't get to read this, as my daughter is very well trained now, and the first thing she does if she's able, is to put any tags straight in the bin. The tag also explains where the company name comes from and that tokidoki means "sometimes" in Japanese.Overall - a nice toy, well made, (perhaps a little expensive for what you're getting), good for anyone who's into unicorns and looking for something a little different. It does say on the product description that it's suitable for all ages but very young children may not be as careful with the metallic material as perhaps they'd need to be. It's worth mentioning that there are other unicorno toys in the range that seem to be plush rather than metallic.
