Gold Coffee Co. Blue Mountain Blend - Medium Roast - Whole Bean - 1lb.

This is absolutely one of my favorite coffees, low acidity but bold taste. This company has always made great coffee. And I highly recommend them. Great price and their packaging is amazing. I will continue to purchase from them because I'm a coffee snob and this fits my taste without breaking the bank. It is fresh and roasted perfectly to the perfect strength.

I'm not your typical coffee drinker but I bought this for a friend who likes to grind his own beans as a birthday gift. I asked him what he thought so I could write this review accordingly. He prefers beans from where I think most coffee comes from, South America. I was trying to find something on the more affordable side that didn't compromise on flavor. So far as I can tell, this one fits the bill quite well. My friend was very satisfied with the taste of these beans. I didn't get any big "wow" factor from his response so I'm guessing they aren't particularly special in any way. He did say that it was flavorful and not at all bitter. He said that the beans seemed to be fresh to him and the aroma from brewing them was pleasant to smell. He's not super picky but he does prefer freshness, as I'm sure most coffee drinkers do. I asked him if he would consider purchasing this brand of coffee again and he said it was primarily dependant upon the cost. I told him how much this bag cost me and he said sure, he would buy them again. I found it somewhat difficult to find an unflavored bean which my friend also prefers so if you're looking for an affordable, fresh, and unflavored coffee bean, I'd say you found it.

Ever since my wife and I's trip to Jamaica, I've always loved the Blue mountain coffee. I'm not fancy enough to tell you why, but I love the way it tastes. Unfortunately it costs quite a bit and I can understand why, having seen it be harvested by hand on treacherous hillsides and then having to get it to America. I found this blend to still have enough to give me some great blue mountain taste, but at a price I could see myself buying regularly. Would recommend if you are also a fan of Blue mountain beans.

Arrived today. First cup was excellent as expected. Just as I had remembered from a couple of trips. This will be my go-to until I drink it all.

Another disappointing bean from Gold Coffee. This tastes nothing like other Blue Mountain blends that I’ve had. No flavor. Although the expiration date is a year away the beans were dry with no shine.
