Best pen ever we love it

This pen was purchased for my son's 14th birthday as a gift and he loved it. The color of the pen with the wood and gold trimming seemed fancy to him. The way is writes and holding the pen. I asked him to do a YouTube video , but he just rejected that idea. I liked the pens as well and it helps with better penmanship.

I have returned this item the craftmanship was very marginal. I have been using fountain pens since the early 1990's and this pen was poorly constructed.

This pen is beautiful from the bamboo wood works to the ink-filling procedure! If you have questions, see the video. It’s very well made & covers “putting the ink in” whether via direct filling from ink jar to easy pre-filled cartridges (bought separately) Quality of writing...what can I say? Excellent! I am very pleased!

Looks nice, but probably would have gone a different route had I known it didn't come prefilled with ink. Who sales a pen that doesn't write when it's opened, or at least come with an ink cartridge.

UPDATE: Recieved an email from the company apologizing for the mistake and have a replacement in the way. My order did not come with any pieces for the ink converter. Attached a photo of everything contained in the box. Feel like I’m missing pieces compared to the review video....

The pen writes smooth and feels good in the hand. However there are very minor imperfections in the grain. I am a detail aoriented person. It wouldn’t be noticed by others.
