They work very well and are great for small parking spots and looking cool!
I put them on my 2003 Toyota Corolla and I have to say I am very happy with my purchase, they fit well and they came in good condition, very small adjustments had to be made to my fenders but when I was done I was very pleased.

Don't do it. Unless you are extremely committed and are a good fabricator
I Bought these hinges to put on a 2001 Monte Carlo SS. I did succeed in getting the hinge welded on the fender well which was no easy task the hinge is incredibly big and ways about 15 to 20 lb. After taking measurements and installing gas struts as per the directions. It looked all right but the gas struts would not lift the door. they would hold it up . but not lift it. Then after opening and closing the door about 4 or 5 times the retaining clip on the ball end of the gas strut was pushed straight through the metal the gas struts are incredibly cheap and brittle material. Now I'm stuck with this hinge welded on my car and no gas struts to put on it or at least no way to connect the gas struts I would not trust the struts that they give you to last more than a week. This was a terrible decision and I wish I could send it back but I don't think they would accept it after it's been welded onto my car. It sounded like a good idea at first because it would be cool but there has to be better hinges . these are way too big for most cars. They might fit a 60s or 70s car but any newer model car is too small for these hinges I had to beat the frame flat under the fender to even Mount them and now I'm stuck with broken equipment and I don't know what I'm going to do. The only thing I can do is spend yet more money and try to find gas struts that can take the weight. Anyway I think you get the point do not buy these. I have experience fabricating and this is a hard job. This is not a job for anybody that is not an experienced fabricator.***Edit***I did eventually get it done. And it looks really good but I'm going to tell you that was one of the hardest jobs I've ever done on a car and I've done a lot. I ended up buying 200 lb gas struts on Amazon that were much stronger. They work quite well it does take two hands to open the door from the inside. I'm just going to tell you unless you are an experienced fabricator or auto body shop. Don't get this thinking it's going to be an easy job because it is incredibly hard this is Custom Fabrication.

Assembly is required!
The product itself is high quality and sturdy. Manufacturing was done well, finishes are nice. However if you are planning on installing this one your car it is not a matter of just bolting it into place. That is not a fault of the product however, most car's aren't designed for the doors to by modified. From my experience installing this here are some thing to consider:1. The hinge is quite large and heavy, the swing radius is large. You WILL have to modify the fenders to allow for the motion, your car just wasn't designed to accommodate this. I wouldnt change anything about this hinge design itself.2. Your car will need to be reinforced. The struts are strong and stiff, exerting 150 Lbs of force. Bolting them directly to the unibody of a car is not sufficient. The unibody is usually 22 or 20 Ga material. I tried that initially and body deformed under the force. I reinforced the area with 1/8" mild steel to spread out the forces more evenly and it worked well.3. The struts vary from 12" to about 18" at open. I am mounting this on a 1985 subaru brat, so a similiar size to modern sedans. The horizontal strut had space but the vertical strut needed to be heavily modified to have the required clearance. Ideally you want one strut operating horizontally and one vertically. Unless you are a 3 dimensional geometry wizard it will require some trial and error.I would not purchase this kit expecting to deal with it over a weekend unless you are a very skilled fabricator. My vehicle is quite old and has damage so just about every step of the process I need to cut and weld. I would not buy this unless you are set up with a MIG welder. Most cars will require solid wire mig welding capabilities as the body is too thin for stick welding to be used. If you have invested and have the right tools available the kit is a great starting point.Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the instructions it comes with could be more elaborate, or at least provide some more guidance or details on the product. It is quite sparse on details. Also it came with a bag of extra threaded ball studs, and four mounting brackets but I can't figure out how or if those are supposed to be used. I don't think I need them but it would be nice to know what they are intended for.

Doesn't Fit On A Chevy Caprice
Yes, this product is strong & durable. Even though it's universal, it doesn't fit on a Chevy caprice. There isn't enough space/room to weld the door hinges on. The product covers about twice the size of space needed from the original caprice hinge. Very disappointed 😢
