Edge cutter for edge band.

Great product. I've tried a few trimmers over the years, and they all damaged the trim or the board when using. This one gives a clean trim, and is very easy to use. After a few boards I was able to use just one hand with thumb pressed against the trimmer and the board. Love the way the cut trim, rolls up and exits the tool. Bonus is that it takes little space in my tool box, and comes with nice case to protect the tool. Worked with both melamine and real wood trim.

I fit wardrobes for a living so thought Id give it a try, the first couple of times I used I didn't like it and went back to using my chisel, then I thought id give it another chance, it turns out once you have the technique down its really good at the job so now its my go to tool, it is a bit expensive for what it is but if it had been festool tool it wouldve been three times more.

After reading some of the negative reviews about this product I was a little apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a simple and effective way to trim edge banding. Just ensure you follow the instructions. Would recommend....

Brilliant little tool. Tried Stanley knife and blades plus chisel. For a novice this was by far the best as it doesn't accidentally cut into the wood. Best practice first and follow videos and instructions. Once mastered it's quick and accurate. I pushed it flat as per instructions. Would highly recommend. Have trimmed about 6metres and still going strong

This has real good quality feel to it. It has a good weight to it as well and the plastic case is a nice touch to keep it from getting knocked about.It takes a bit of practice to use it, so probably best to do a few practice runs on some scrap first.Only moan is, it is a bite expensive for a bit of metal.

I have to admit that I was a bit dubious about whether this could do a decent job of trimming laminate edging but was persuaded by the excellent reviews.In the past I've used knives, planes and sandpaper to remove the surplus but it takes time. I was using it on real wood pine edging and boy did it work well. Hold it flat to the surface with the laminate just against the side of the u-shaped cutout of the tool and push forward. The excess laminate just peels off and leaves a really clean edge - maybe just give it a very light sand afterwards and it's done. In a few seconds.Brilliant.This is intended for the laminate on a roll (usually the iron on type), it will not do the much more durable type that goes on the ends of kitchen worktops.

Was hab ich mich gequält, den überstehenden Umleimer der neuen Arbeitsplatte optisch schön zu entfernen. Dabei hab ich alles versucht, bis ich endlich ein Video mit diesem Tool gesehen habe. So durchdacht, für Laien absolut leicht zu handhaben, super Ergebnis. Die 15 € waren jeden Cent wert.Danke!

He canteado tablero de aglomerado de 16 mm con canto de melamina con la plancha de casa. De 10 cantos que acabo de hacer solo 1 lo he tenido que repetir y por descuido mío. Funciona perfectamente. Una vez le pillas el truco es superficial y con un acabado perfecto. Me ha encantado. Ni cúter, ni espátula, ni lima me quedo con este. No te puede cortar y es muy difícil dañar la melamina.

Excellent produit. Permet de réaliser facilement une finition parfaite des champs, très difficile à obtenir avec les autres outils couramment vendus en magasins de bricolage

Non esistono attrezzi miracolosi, ma solo utilizzatori attenti : guardate senza fretta il tutorial che viene proposto e seguite le istruzioni . il pezzo da lavorare deve essere saldamente ancorato al banco di lavoro con dei morsetti altrimenti l'attrezzo "saltella" e tende a scheggiare il bordo in eccesso anzichè tagliarlo. Ho qualche dubbio su quanto potrà durare l'affilatura dopo svariati utilizzi . Da notare che può essere usato anche da mancini . Comunque, con qualche prova ed un utilizzo paziente, si ottengono risultati decisamente di ottimo livello
