Fade Away Stay Put Silicone Sheeting Securing Tabs …

The Stay Put tabs are definitely a huge help since they keep my sheeting in place pretty much all day long.

The silicone sheeting tabs work well to secure scar tape to scar tape. However, they do not stick well to skin. You have to put them on the end of the tape and on your skin to keep the tape in place. Each time you remove the tape to wash and reuse, you have to cut off the tape where the tabs are attached, leaving smaller and smaller pieces of tape to use. These products are SO expensive. It makes it even more frustrating when they don't work well.

I purchased these tabs at the same time I purchased the related scar tape to care for my 5” incision after shoulder surgery. They work exactly as described. They worked so well that I cut them in half and only used one each day for my scar tape. Ultimately, I found that the tape was staying in place great without using any. Usage will depend on the site of your scar and the movement of the area. Although my incision site has plenty of physical movement , it is not in an area that receives friction from clothing.
