Cheap and cheerful memory of the past.
Bought because I want a simple cleaner which I can use and store in a workroom which has a carpet. There is a 'proper' vacuum' cleaner available for more powerful cleaning. I chose this brand for sentimental reasons - in my childhood we haad a 'push-me- pull me' floor cleaner and the name still exists after 70 years!. I's cheap and cheerful - and for £30 it works, but the handle is short so he handle is almost at waist level and it is surprisingly heavy. For a trial I used it on a floor mat by French windows which has lots of feet going in from the garden. It looked clean, but as I thought it will need more thorough cleaning to go deeper into the carpet. The flex is reasonable length, but not long enough for a set of stairs , or using a single plug for a couple of roomsCertainly satisfactory to see if the basic concept of how it will be used is what I want before I buy a more sophisticated better designed stick cleaner - and obviously more expensive.The instructions are very funny - 3 1/2 sides of very basic guidance. -Be careful on stairs or Do not put into water. There is a good diagram, but the actual instructions although simply written, took several minutes to actually assemble it, and my first intuitive effort was wrong.

Item arrived very promptly and was as described. Very easy to empty, very lightweight, and space-saving which is sufficient for a small home or a quick clean up so it suits my needs. If you're looking for a very powerful suction you might want to pay for a more expensive machine but otherwise I'm happy with it as I think it is pretty good for this low price. If you're a tall person you might prefer a machine with a longer handle.
