Did the job I bought them for
As most people are aware, interior doors are often a wooden frame with something like hardboard over the top on both sides. Fine, until the handle is pulled with excessive force a few times with the result that the screws holding the handle to the door get pulled out of the hardboard covering so that the handle no longer fits flush to the door. That's exactly the problem I had and eventually found a video on the internet that showed using these handle screws. So I went on Amazon and found these screws, exactly the same as in the video. Basically they work by pulling each door handle towards the other side until both sides are flush with the door. The 'male' end screws into the 'female' sleeve so you need a couple of screwdrivers, one to hold the sleeve and the other to screw in the 'male' part of the product.Well I only needed 3, but since I have two other doors with the same setup, the additional screws would be handy to have if the same problem occurred on those doors. My first impression was that the screw heads are rather small, so I was concerned that the holes in the handle would allow the screws to pass through, however I checked on one of the particularly loose existing screws and was pleased to see that they would be retained within the screw holes in the handle. So I got out the trusty drill and drilled through both sides to ensure that the holes I'd drilled allowed the screws to go all the way through. At this stage you need to use a drill bit that will take the sleeve end which of course is slightly larger than the 3mm diameter of the screws. Also, I found that because the material of the door had been damaged by the old screws, it was necessary to make sure there was no 'flapping' material which blocked the hole when the screw was pushed through. The screw has several non-threaded points about a centimetre apart, which are there so that you can use the wire cutter of a pair of pliers to remove excess metal. That worked well except that you do need some force and the resulting two pieces tend to fly off all over the place so best done in a confined space so they don't get too hard to find. I was concerned that cutting might leave a burred end where the sleeve would go on, but didn't have that issue with any of them.In my case, the result was that the screw didn't go all the way through the door which made fitting the sleeve slightly difficult but far from impossible. I did have to keep using the drill because bits of the door material were getting in the way of the sleeve so that it wouldn't screw on.Once I'd got all the screws and sleeves together I tightened them all up with the intended result that the door handle now fits tightly on the door. I imagine it would take a lot of force to pull the handles off, and if you did you'd need a new door anyway. So overall, a successful project.

Perfect replacement
Brought these to replace a broken one on my toilet door, as it was a multipack I added an additional screw, the door handle feels rock solid now, they were very easy to cut down to size, and fitted an standard door handle perfectly

For hollow doors - better than screws
Ideal for hollie doors where the screw hole had worn and screws become loose. These go all the way through the door and screw into one another - spot on !
