brilliant second controller for my 55UN74 LG TV, worked straight out of the box (after fitting batteries), ALL the buttons do exactly as they are supposed to, it does not have the voice or mouse function which is noted as it not having, which is exactly what I wanted, quality is OK, it is a TV remote and the build quality is on a per with many others both OEM and replacements, I would recommend buying some AAA batteries and not using the supplied ones, but besides this excellent value for money.

Worked straight out of the box.Button configuration a bit different from my old remote but no big difference.would recommend for replacement for LG smart TV.

Does the job of the old one for less than half the price

We have a 42” LG TV which we inherited from my late grandparents. The TV itself is in great condition but the remote never seemed responsive. We tried lots of different batteries. Over time it got worse.I thought, I’ll see if we can get a “universal remote” and try that. This is exceptional - it’s literally an identical remote to the one we had (with the exception of the LG logo which seems reasonable as this isn’t made by LG). It comes with batteries and after inserting it those it just…works!No set up, nothing. Just put the batteries in and start using it.Given the screen itself is fine this is a significantly cheaper way to extend the TVs life without buying a completely new one.One thing I have noted - but this is in no way a fault of this product - is that some of the software/apps on the TV are just slow. Initially I wondered if the remote had anything to do with that, but given this was the same before & after buying this product I’d say not. I have done a software update but that didn’t make any difference.

Stoped working in short time ...

Worked straight out of the pack with no programming. Some of the buttons don’t actually do anything… Netflix and Amazon buttons work but the Disney+ one does nothing despite the app being a default app on the TV. Some of the buttons like volume and channel +\- seem to need a really firm push which is frustrating. Okay as a quick easy replacement but not the best option out there.
