Every year my wife and I grow a garden and one of the things I love the most is baby bell peppers. These require about 30-45 days indoors to get big and healthy enough for them to survive outside. Another is tomato plants that my wife loves. We usually use a larger florescent setup that ironically doesn't put out near as much light as this does. This thing is like turning on a sun in your house bright. So bright that when I turned it on the first time without even looking at the grow light itself made my eyes hurt for a second trying to adjust to it. There is also other differences such as this light actually has UV LEDs and inferred which plants need to be used to before going outdoors. The other really nice thing is it comes with hangers so I can simply attach it to the same hanger system I was using with my previous setup.Build Quality:The Grow light's body is solid metal with what appears to be a 120mm fan inside. It draws air from the back and pushes it over the board inside. Looking into the front of the light the LEDs appear very well soldered to the board and come with a thick piece of glass covering them to protect the front but let as much light through as possible. On the back it appears to have a all in one type plug that accepts literally any type of plug you could imagine to allow you to daisy chain them. It has a sticker indicating that it can only handle 1,000 watts so you could theoretically daisy chain 5 of these lights together which is quiet nifty. I don't know if this is a limitation of the cable or the internal plug or both but I'm guessing I wouldn't push it. Speaking of the switch when turning it on it makes a strong heavy "click". Know it probably doesn't mean much but I always like electronics to have a quality feel.Grow Quality:So far I just have little sprouts so nothing to write home about but they do appear to have come up a earlier. One thing I will point out is that this light uses give or take 200 watts at the wall taken with a kill-a-watt meter. The light intensity is so much more powerful than my 432 watt lighting system I was using. I assume its due to the bulbs slowly getting older where as this LED will glow bright as day for years.Summery:I will try to upload some pictures of how they turn out when they get bigger but so far I really like the light. I like that it has some UV and IR in the lamp to give the plants more of a feel of the sun when I move them outdoors. I also like that it consumes over half of what I was using watt wise. I am honestly debating if I should expand how many sprouts I make and expand the garden a bit. Anyways A+ for price and quality from me. ### ⭐⭐⭐ NOT a 1000w replacement but a useable single plant light *by J***K on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 20, 2017* One of the most confusing things about LED grow lights is the HID replacement "equivalent" wattagesThese are generally misleadingPulling a true 200 watts, this light is less powerful than most of the "600 watt" units, so the labeling is confusing. Let's put that aside to give you the best picture of the light overall.The chips are bridgeluxe and epistar, which i have gotten results from beforehand.This light is best suited to a single plant and should be sufficient to yield between 4-7 ozs depending on strain.The footprint on these lights during flower is why I recommend a single plant setup if you're going to use this light. In flower you want to be a foot away, and at that point it's coverage area is just beneath the light.The price to watt is not bad, but if you expect this to put off anywhere near the amount of light or footprint that any HPS does, you will be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Use in 420 Application and I am VERY PLEASED!!! *by D***W on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 21, 2018* Well, I just got this light today. I hooked it up and it lights VERY brightly!I have a YouTube Channel where I grow 420 things. I am doing this review so early on because, I already know this style of light because I own 6 others. I needed one more for my flower area.Upon opening the box I was very excited to see that it comes not only the hanging kit be the adjustable hanger as well. This is a $5 value. My other lights cost me $20 more per unit. So, this right of the bat, saved me $25! Not to mention is IS daisychainable :-)I have the light installed and hovering over my plants and it is every bit as bright as my others, if not more!Are there better lights out there? ABSOLUTELY! However, for the price range???
