I have used many stainless steel water bottles. Pros: I am very impressed by the construction. There is no curved lip around the opening of the bottle where weird stuff can grow that is nearly impossible to clean. It is extremely durable, the insulation is unparalleled to anything else on the market that I’ve tried. Water you put in it will stay essentially the same temperature throughout the night. Water tastes better in it, perhaps I was using low quality stainless steel water bottles or the temperature wasn’t staying cold enough to not get that stainless steel flavor — this is a major plus. It is not heavy compared to any other insulated bottles I’ve used, it is only slightly heavier than non insulated bottles. I like the high quality natural blush cleaner versus plastic based brush cleaners. The gasket functions well and will not leak. Cons: It is large, the insulation adds a lot of height. I stick with 32 oz bottles and this one is significantly taller than the others. You cannot reach your hand in to clean the bottle, the opening is too small. The brush cleaner is not very flexible (the little outward portion at the end still allows a thorough clean throughout the bottle, but this is worth mentioning anyway). The lid is a little loud when unscrewing it — this is normal for this style of water bottle and largely unavoidable. Overall, I am extremely impressed. It looks excellent and gleams, the price is worth it for the technology, weight, and quality. I will be using this as my go to water bottle from here on out. I will update if I have to replace it or something fails.

High quality - Absolutely solid construction, simple yet attractive design, good size (volume) selection, and fantastic heat/cold retention (48+ hours with solid ice remaining for a cold iced drink). You might be able to find vacuum bottles from other sellers that are a bit less expensive, but the quality of this (and other Blockhütte products I've purchased) makes them well worth the price. Note: I have purchased the 16oz (1/2 liter) and 34oz (1 liter) variants.

I like it....bought the 17 oz model and very satisfied with my purchase. I see a lot of back and forth in the comments about where it's made. Germany or China, I don't care. Seems like a quality bottle and that's the bottom line. Fits in vehicle cupholders and bicycle bottle holders...that's my main criteria. Try it you may like it....or maybe not!

Holds hot temperature for a long time and steel looks and feel real.

Best thermos ever! This is German engineering. The milk was as cold 12 & 24 hours later as it was straight from the fridge. Pours nicely as well & wide open to clean. All the pretty colors of the other brands eventually bubble & peal off in the dishwasher, even if “dishwasher safe.”

Item appears to be a fine quality. Somewhat reassuring to have German stainless steel like in the old days. It doesn't say made in China anywhere but I can't prove that it isn't. The packaging, design and spirit of the presentation of the product is friendly.

I am pleased with this purchase of the Blockhűtte Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle. I like that it doesn’t leak even if it tips over in my truck, it really keeps my water cold all day, the screw on lid has a convenient carrying handle, it is easy to clean with a bottle brush which was included, and most importantly no plastics. I was a little disappointed that this size would not fit into any of the cup holders in my truck but it is rather big and heavy to drink from while driving anyway. I purchased a smaller size of the same item that is easier to drink from and fits into my cup holder and I keep this one also in the truck to replenish the smaller bottle. This is a good way to keep cold water during long days at work or long road trips. It has been thrown to the floor of my truck,p and tipped over numerous times, yet hasn’t leaked nor dented . I haven’t put hot drinks into this so can’t speak to how well it works for hot beverages. I’ve had this almost a year.

If you want a beautiful bottle for carrying water, this might be perfect for you. However, I wanted a top quality hot drink flask and for that use this is a real disappointment. As soon as I filled it with hot water and put on the top, the neck became hot. This is a sign that the heat of the interior liquid was leaking out. Sure enough, it continued to be hot to the touch around the neck/collar. For about 3-4 hours this will keep thigs warm but not over night and certainly not for the advertised 12 hours. So I am returning mine. Love the looks but not the function.

I used this as a huge hot drink mug so I can get at least half of my daily allowance of liquid. Even without the lid, a hot drink can last hours usually cooling in and around three-ish hours. The weight is fair since it is stainless steel and the lid is waterproof. It also has a bag to carry it and a spare silicone seal. You can have your name etched onto the side, if you wish. Overall a superb piece of kit. Can't fault it

Easy to clean, holds content in the same temperature for long, good size. Exactly what I was looking for.
