Great standing/walking aide
initially, I bought this item to help me stand from a chair or couch. I soon discovered that I could also use it as a walker that was much sturdier than a cane. Both of my knees are in bad shape and this walker gives me something to hold on to for both legs. The pocket is just the right size to put my wallet, phone and car keys in eliminating the need to carry my entire pocketbook into stores or to appointments. I highly recommend this product.

Lightweight, But Not Balanced for Use As Shown
We bought this to assist with standing (from seated position). The way the base is made, it isn't stable for that purpose. It works very well when pressure is from above, going straight down. But for a person trying to stand up, it will tip toward them as they try to use it for leverage to stand up. I think the poles need to go to the floor and the base would have to extend outward from there-- this would potentially prevent the unit from tipping toward the user. The usage as a cane isn't as precarious as when used to assist in standing up, but I think it is more awkward than any of the other styles of canes I've seen. I'll just say that I wish I had taken it apart and returned it. Instead it will eventually get donated either to charity or to a senior center in the hope that someone finds a suitable use for it. Right now, it is being used to keep throws off the floor.

Well Designed Walking Cane
This is a sturdy, well-made, easy-to-assemble walking cane. I did not buy it for use as a cane, but as an assist to rise from a seated position. With arthritic knees, getting up is painful. I use the cane to steady myself once standing rather than as an assist to pull myself up. I find it easier to push rather pull myself up. Nevertheless, I still find the cane helpful.

So helpful
I recently had surgery and required help to sit/stand from chairs, bed and the bathroom. This little tool has been so helpful in my recovery process, to help me avoid abdominal strain. Once I'm fully healed I plan to pass it on to my elderly dad to help him get out of bed at night. It's less bulky than a regular walker, though also a bit less stable too, so wouldn't recommend for someone really unstable on their feet, but it is helpful for those with some strength or agility issues.

All seniors need at least one of these!
I am 73. This is just what I needed to help me get out of bed or up from a chair. It was easy for me to assemble. Thank you for making a device that can help seniors get up or down easier. All seniors need this product. It is lightweight to take with you wherever you need assistance getting up or down. I highly recommend this product.

Cane
This is not very stable for people with disability, I feel like I’m going to fall over, it’s very light I think it’s lighter than a cane.

Much easier to take in the car than Walker!
It was very easy to assemble, basically 2 screws and just drop the top part in and adjust height. It’s been a pain to take the Walker to use when I’m just getting gas or some other quick stop. This is perfect, provides better stability than just a cane!

Too Tall
Purchased this as a bridge between a full walker and a regular cane while I continued to rebuild strength after a recent hospitalization. While I can use it to assist in standing, it is too tall to use for walking. Even at it's lowest height setting, it is still about 4 inches too tall. And I'm not short - I'm 5 foot and 9 inches. I will probably be returning it.
