It gets 5 stars for doing the job It's supposed to. It gets an extra star because of how close it shaves. However, I have to take a few stars away. First as soon as you open the box there's a card telling you to download the app, at the time I was thinking that there would be some settings or something I could tweak on the shaver using the app however all the app does is track how fast you move the shaver around your face and let you upload pictures of your face which is pretty useless. Secondly, most things these days charge using USB-C, having a proprietary connector that looks a lot like the old 2 pin mains connector makes me feel nervous handing this shaver to any older folks, and before you say it, yes there are waterproof USB-C connectors. Thirdly, I use a bag to store all my grooming tackle, however I can't put this shaver in that bag as it does not come with a cover to protect the foil from damage. I know it comes with its own hard case, but I already have a tackle bag to put it in.
