Awesome bags
Getting ready for the Plastics Treaty coming in - 2025 - I think? I know we are phasing out the plastics and glad to do my part ahead of time. These are great bags, given they aren't plastic. Zip works well. I re-use. Wash them gently and can usually get a couple or more uses out of them before they begin to wear. It feels so great to put something like this in the garbage! Because they are a bit pricey - I only get them on sale. We have more glassware for food storage now and I am finding I don't have to use these bags all that much like I used to. And, there are fun, washable cloth baggies with velcro (velcro is plastic type - nylon material - I know - but less is better as we all transition) type bags now for kids lunches and snacks which we also use. But when we DO need the ziplock types - these work great!

Pricey but worth it
It feels good to know that these food storage bags are compostable. I have finally made the switch from all the other name brand baggies. They are pricey, but they are a great replacement for plastic.

Super quality compostable bags
These bags are terrific!! I use them in the kitchen for on the counter trash bags. They hold a lot, donโt leak, zip close easily and stay closed. I open and close them a lot during the day and they never tear. Thank you Cleanomic!

Great but somewhat porous bag
Pros: - Love that it's compostable and safe to use for my family - affordable - somewhat durable (but less so than Ziploc; makes sense since it's suppose to be compostable) - reusable for a few times Cons: - durability. Again, not like a Ziploc so don't expect that - not clear but opaque so really need to rely your label (hard to erase sharpie marker off if you plan to reuse; Ziploc I used just alcohol swab which erased my label) - porous so if it's in the fridge then the contents absorb the smell and scent (not too bed. Being garlic is strong, had some chopped garlic in a separate cleanomics bag next to it for a day and my pastry tastes like garlic) ***My final verdict: Will continue to buy but may try other compostable bags.

Attention environmentally concerned artists who use 8 x 10 canvas boards for your paintings!
The one Gallon size Eco Zips are the perfect size for my 8 x 10 canvas board paintings! For any artists out there wondering how best to package and ship your canvas board paintings, I thought I'd offer a friendly suggestion. I use recyclable rigid photo mailers (still researching which ones are better than the last one I used at the post office, which is a really good one because it's super rigid and expands if need be). I couldn't find these for sale on the post office site. So, any hoo, place one glassine sheet shiny side down on the front of the painting and place another glassine sheet behind the painting, taping both sheets together with the painting enclosed in the center being careful not to get tape on your painting, then place inside this one-gallon compostable zip bag - this way if the painting slides around a little, it'll be OK. I think this is a pretty good way to be environmentally conscious as an artist while also protecting my art. I was very happy with the size of this bag, and it's pretty! Compostable
I really like this brand. Cleanomic is a little bite cheaper than other compostable bags, but they are definitely worth it. I make my dog topper food for a month at a time and store in these high quality, durable bags.

Sturdy Environmentally Friendly Bags
Really pleased with these sturdy bags. You feel good about using โbagsโ that are better for the environment without totally breaking the bank. A good buy and solid purchase.

These are great but sadly way too expensive
These bags seems really solid in terms of what they hold and how well the zip top works. Their main selling point is they aren't plastic. For me there are 2 problems: A) the bag isn't clear so you can't easily see what's in it. B) (and why I gave it less than 5 stars) it's about 10 times the price of dollar store or store brand bags at the supermarket. I wish we could continue to use these but we aren't in a tax bracket where we can pay 10x more for this product. Eco friendly is great but it still has to be affordable, like maybe 1.5x or 2x the price would be doable.
