Very handy! Was a little larger than expected!

This product is a digital scale that can measure up to 400 lbs with commercial grade accuracy and durability. This scale exactly matches what's promised in the listing: a high capacity receiving scale with a large base plate and substantial upper weight limit. It consists of a base unit and a control/display unit with a mounting bracket. The display unit can be powered by either four internal AA batteries or an external power adapter, which is included in the box. The mounting bracket has an angle adjustment feature with two thumbscrews that go on the sides (make sure to remove them from the foam before discarding the packing materials - I missed them at first). The screen is very clear - it didn't photograph well in my photos, but rest assured it's easy to read and fully legible.Measurement works exactly as expected, but there aren't really may fancy features here: tare, measure, switch from metric to standard is pretty much what you get. Imperial measurements are in decimal pounds only, so if you want to measure in ounces, you're out of luck.The resolution of the scale is 50 grams or 0.1 pounds. That's totally fine for the intended purpose of this scale - weighing incoming produce or other heavy objects - but if you're planning on also weighing lightweight mail, you'll find it's not quite sensitive enough to differentiate between the 1/2/3 ounce rates for mail. It's probably best paired with a second, smaller scale for those purposes.This is a big scale, so make sure you have space for it when planning your purchase. I do appreciate that the controller can be mounted separately up above, which gives you more flexibility to work it into your workspace.

It's a heavy-weighted scale, and I'm using it at the family restaurant. It's accurate and durable so far, and it's great to measure the bones and meats.

The media could not be loaded.  This scale is good, the display is big. It’s easy to read and use out of the box. You can plug in or use 4 AA batteries. The scale only took assembly of the lcd screen which was just screwing in.It’s a big scale, not really space saving but useful if you need it.Overall, met expectations.👍🆙

I use this to weight out produce for my juice business and am really pleased with it. The base is nice and large so I no longer have to try and pile everything on to a small kitchen scale. It can be plugged into the wall or powered by batteries, which is a nice option when I want to weigh stuff without moving the scale close to an outlet. The tare feature is of course a must so that I can subtract the tub/dish I am using to weigh things in. Very pleased and am stoked to have this on hand while my business grows.

I really like this scale so far. It seems to be very accurate and easy to use. I really really like the fact that it has a separate display. I have frequently been weighing things in the past and had issues when the item being weighed covered the display. That is no longer an issue for me now the I have this scale. I wish I had bought one of these a long time ago!

Although I don't think I'll ever weigh anything coming close to 400 pounds, this is a nice shipping scale. Even though it can handle that much weight, it does just fine with lighter packages. I tried to find anything that weighs exactly 5 pounds or something to test to see if the scale is accurate but even a 5 pound dumbbell isn't exactly 5 pounds! I have a food scale that I have been using and between these two scales I think the readings are similar. I really wanted a shipping scale that had a separate read out like this one. I send packages out to my daughter and hate it when I have a box and it covers up the numbers on the food scale. The platform is a solid steel with a diamond-plate look, I love that. I also love that I can plug in for power instead of using batteries in the readout. Overall it's a great compact shipping scale.
