As someone who frequently travels for work and stays in various Airbnbs, the news stories circulating about hidden cameras in rentals had me quite concerned. That prompted me to purchase this hidden camera detector, aiming for peace of mind during my stays. I've had the chance to use it several times now, and while (fortunately) I have not discovered any hidden cameras in my accommodations, it's been reassuring to have this tool at my disposal. It is indeed a relief, albeit the reason why I can't provide any videos showcasing the detector in action in this review. However, I did put it to the test at home using my security camera system, and I'm happy to report that it detected the cameras without a hitch. The device worked precisely as advertised, picking up on the presence of the camera swiftly, providing a clear indication of its effectiveness and functionality. This hidden camera detector has become a staple in my travel kit, offering a sense of security and peace of mind that is absolutely priceless.

The media could not be loaded. This little Hidden Devices Detector is a great product to have. It will locate hidden cameras, microphones, and trackers. It is small enough to fit in your hand, but it is pretty loud when it detects something. And to all that, is it also a flashlight! You can easily switch between detection modes. As you see in the video, I go from being able to detect listening devices (you can increase the sensitivity) , the second one is infrared to detect hidden cameras, and the third mode is the flashlight. It's nice that you can silence it, and you will feel a vibration instead of hearing the buzz. This is a rechargeable unit and holds a charge for a long time, over 24 hours. It comes with the charging cable too. I love the small size, you can just put it in your pocket and check for devices anywhere you go! I will be telling all of my traveling friends about this. You wouldn't even have to travel, use it for meetings, or anywhere.

I bought this for security when I travel and use air bb to make sure nobody is watching, I tested on products in my house and it worked great. I was able to find live feed.

First not worth $50! This perhaps is worth half the $ or maybe even less, like $10! It’s basically a flashlight with a red light option and filter. I think but perhaps I’m mistaken the blue light thing is for wifi or wireless. It does detect the wifi I guess (seems to detect Alexa), but doesn’t most places have wireless something? It seems you have to search for the camera and if you find one with the red light it is not going to beep. Again maybe i’m not getting it. The blue wireless mode I don’t get at all, but it doesn’t beep though when I point it at my camera phone. Not even my computer. So again maybe I’m confused with how this works, but so far I’m not seeing the worth in this thing. Oh and I did try pointing it at my outside camera and nothing happened. That is wireless. I may be sending it back. Also what does the white light features do? Am I looking for the blue shadow on the hidden camera lens? I can do this with a flashlight no? Also I think it has to be dark for any of it to work, otherwise it’s useless.

Works really well if used correctly! I first tried within an area where there was over 20 cameras within 25 or 30 feet of it. I just turned it on and walked around. I decided that I might actually need to read the instructions... that helped, a little. What I discovered in the end was that I wasn't using it properly. I expected it to beep when I pointed it in the direction of cameras. Took me a bit to figure out that it probably was not designed or able to do what I was trying to make it do. I went to another location with two cameras in over a thousand square feet. It beeped every time I got close to one. Note: you have be pretty close to the camera. This will be going with me when I travel from now on. It is a great item to have when staying in a motel, using a public restroom, a bed n breakfast, or airbnb vacation spot.

I tried it in my own house where I have cameras. I held it up to my cameras and didn’t get anything. Spend the extra money on one that you don’t have to search through the red leave to find hidden cameras.

If you travel and frequently stay in Air BnBs, hotels, hostile, etc you NEED this device. Don't even hesitate, there's alot of sick weird people out there hiding cameras in basically anything, and this device can enable you to find them!The different functionality allows you to be discreet in your investigation by switching it to vibrate mode instead of beeping. Being able to adjust the sensitivity allows you to get a wide read of the room, and then narrow in on a specific area if a device is detected.The instructions are very easy to follow (I attached a picture) and the device is ready to use right out of the box! I would highly recommend this item to ANYONE who desires to protect their privacy.
