CamelBak LifeStraw Replacement Bottle Filter Set

Amazing product. Used it around the world- at sea and in foreign ports. Improved my quality of life immensely. Wish this was standard issue.

This is great when you regularly drink city tap water, although having to buy one for 30+ dollars every 1.5 months does add up

Edit, apparently Camelbak has a warranty that even covers items purchased here on Amazon as long as they are purchased through the Camelbak store. I have submitted my request for a replacement and will see what happens. Fingers crossed! Do not purchase this item! I finally needed to use it and not only does it not fit because it is too long, it is sealed into the bottom part of the contraption with something that completely covers the filter and prevents any water from moving up into the mouth piece. Plus, the mouth piece is completely sealed. There is no way to move water through this. The product is a complete scam.

I really liked the original 32oz bottle. I needed to replace the filter and it turns out the "32oz" filter sold here is too long for the Camelbak 32oz life straw bottle. I bought the 20oz filter and it is a bit shortet than the original and is harder to draw water through. Disappointing that finding the right size filter is so difficult.

If you own the Largest camelback Eddy + bottle then don’t buy the largest Eddie plus filter. The large does not fit the large bottle for some reason and there is no descriptions of what the filter fits and won’t fit.

After the delivery the filter is too large for the 32 Oz bottle. Aggravating because I precisely needed the filter change for my trip. Dumb to present 3 filter sizes w/o indications.

This is for the straw only, the cap is not included as per the photos. without being able to buy the cap renders this useless unless you already have the Eddy lifestraw combo bottles. I didn’t want to waste the bottles I already had that have lasted years and still going strong. I have found another method to convert my older chute style camelback bottles to Lifestraw filters with caps

Just like to carry spare filter handy and so will last for a very long time filtering water.

Completely pissed off. Seems that though I said to repurchase the LARGE one for my CamelBak bottle, the system automatically goes to the small one because it seems LifeStraw has stopped producing Large ones. Their links all point to the small ones. Will see if I can return it.

We can get sent to a lot of interesting locations. It's nice to know I can top up the water bottle with a filter that'll remove anything nasty so I can keep going. The filter needs to be changed regularly - which is what this buy is all about.
