It says to refer to user’s manual, didn’t come with one. It seems more like an exerciser for your triceps. So I made up a different way to use it that will actually exercise your neck. Hope it works!

You get what you pay for. Dr's office ones are much better quality but $70. I guess this will do better than nothing.

When you position like instructions, the cord is so stretchy, there is not much stretch from the neck.

I often suffer from neck pain , I have been told that its mainly because that is where I carry most of my stress . This neck stretcher has been a life saver . It was super easy to put together and even easier to use This has definitely help relieve my constant neck pain .I even take this with me when I know that Ill be in the car for a long time . This is a simple device. While not exactly flawless in design it has given me relief in my first use that I wasn't expecting.I feel like I needed more tension so I grabbed the band midway instead of the handles. That made the difference I needed.It's simple. Comfortable and compact. I was able to crack my neck within seconds afterwards and get better range of motion.I love it.

The pulls/tension cords were too long where I could not get the stretch/tension needed for neck exercises. I did NOT enjoy using this product or should I say trying to use this product. I feel I would have gotten more success out of a home-made contraption from a bungee cord.
