I almost got angry, thinking these were mono plugs and not stereo TRS plugs.one reviewer also thought that, but they didn't look close enough. easy mistake to make.REMOVE the top metal shell and you'll find the 'hidden' solder lug for the middle ring connection. first remove the obvious metal cable shell (unscrew fully) and then use a screw driver to pry up the top metal part and you'll see the solder tap. the top part is not held in by screws, just some align-pillars and it stays tight by having the screw barrel go over both halves of the connector body, the top removable part and the bottom part.

Make sure you read full description. This is not an adaptor. This is for making your own cables and doing the soldering yourself.I was looking for adaptors and did read the full description. Doesn’t help that it’s a 30 word description and doesn’t say so until the and ; and this is the first thing that comes for when searching for an adaptor.

They do not work at all, the build quality seemed durable but the 1/4 isn’t even able to fit in them fully. Not satisfied in the least😑

With Switchcraft pricing their products plugs right out of the market, it has become necessary to find less expensive alternatives. These plugs work great at a price working folks can afford. They take solder easily and the insides don't melt when they get hot from the soldering iron. I would buy again. Highly recommended.

These connectors are well built and sturdy.Nice for tight spots.

They are all metal, solid build, holding up nicely and I don't expect any issues. Good value for the money!

No audio output whatsoever, completely useless
