Pros: building it out of the box was a breeze. Super easy to connect everything and get it charging. The only slightly difficult thing was getting the brake line installed, but I find that typical. This scooter has pep! It hit twenty miles an hour and on flat pavement could maintain that easily. It seemed to govern at 20 as I couldn’t get it any faster. For me, the display was plenty bright even in the sun. I tried it and my four kids ages 10-17. They could all use it without issue. The ability to break it down to carry it is nice. It weighs 30+ pounds so I don’t see me doing that too often. Maybe nice of I ride it to work? Middle Cruise control: I wish braking would disengage the cruise control. Instead, you need to push on the accelerator briefly to disengage. Range : On initial charge, I ran 50/50 between low and high gears, but didn’t get the estimated 14-18 miles. Closer to twelve. I did take this on some hills, which may have affected performance. I’m not sure I’ll get that range Comfort: after a couple miles, I’m ready to get off. Platform is plenty wide for me. The pneumatic tires help. For longer trips, I suspect suspension would help. Cons No deal breakers for me with this model. I think for the price it’s well built. I’ve used/owned the commercial electric scooters which cost much more. I think this scooter is adequate. Time will tell about battery life. So far it’s charged like it’s supposed to. Range has been a little lower and something I’m going to watch. Overall, I think it’s a good choice of scooter in its price range and recommend it.

I’ve been really happy with the XR Elite Max scooter overall. It rides smooth, has good speed, and feels sturdy and reliable for everyday use. I did run into an error code issue, but customer service was excellent. A rep named Sidereal responded quickly and helped resolve everything right away, which made a huge difference. My only wish is that this model had a lock code feature like my previous Gotrax G4—that added security was really convenient. Other than that, great scooter and great support. I’d definitely recommend it!

The scooter itself is really good quality. Overall feels solid and rides well! It has pretty standard functions like folding, front led lamp, rear stop signal, screen with current speed. There is no suspension, but that's kind of expected in this class. Something that I did not see before - is cruise control function. That allow you to ride on selected speed. Pretty nice. I was able to get to max speed of 15mph on this one, but it's pretty scary on this speed already. Important thing - rider weight. I'm big guy (more than 230lb) and this scooter is a bit slow for me. I bought 350w motor version. For light and small people, teenagers - 350w model would be more than enough. But for heavy weight riders acceleration on this scooter will be slow.

Received on time and mostly as stated. Went together very easily and is charging right now... Only thing that is different than what is advertised is the tires are solid tires not tires with an inner tube. I'm sure with the tubed tires ride might be softer but this is for my daughter and now I don't have to worry about her getting a flat so I'm happy with the tires that came with it.

I bought two Gotrax XR Elite Max scooters so my son and I could spend some time together riding around the neighborhood. They arrived Saturday, we assembled them, and put them on the charger for about 6 hours. Both chargers showed green, indicating a full charge—but neither scooter would power on at all. I went through every troubleshooting step: checked and reseated the 5-pin connections multiple times, verified assembly, swapped chargers between units, and tried multiple ways of powering them on. Both scooters were completely unresponsive. I left them charging overnight and tried again the next morning—still nothing. It wasn’t until later in the afternoon, that one scooter finally powered on. However, that unit has its own issue. The rear wheel makes a loud grinding/scraping noise while riding, likely from the brake or disc, straight out of the box. The tires also arrived completely flat. The second scooter still does not power on at all. Getting one defective product happens. Getting two with different issues right out of the box points to serious quality control problems. What’s especially frustrating is the time this has taken. Like a lot of people, my free time is limited, and this was supposed to be simple—assemble, charge, and spend time with my kid. Instead, I’ve spent that time troubleshooting and trying to get brand new products to function. Based on the reviews and advertising, I expected a simple out-of-the-box experience—charge and ride. That was not the case here. As a first-time customer, this experience says everything about the company. This has been a frustrating and time-consuming experience. I’ve included a video showing both scooters, the charging indicators, and the issues described above. If I could, I would leave zero stars.

It does the short mobility 100% but too many flat tires. Quality poor but after a year the thing is still running.

The old electric bike was thrown away and it was of this brand. We spent a lot of happy times with it, and it is great to use with great battery life and power. It is normal to have some discounts on battery life, but believe me, it is definitely a good product as the battery life can reach 110% in the first year. It can be folded and placed in the trunk. In fact, my wife and I can stand on it together. Once you use it, you will find that you can't live without it. It is really convenient. As long as the road conditions permit, it is the perfect match for people who don't want to walk when going out.

Utilisation agréable les roues sont assez hautes pour rendre les irrégularités de la routes moins dur. Je l'utilise pour aller au travail et en revenir et c'est très plaisant surtout avec le beau temps. Je n'ai pas eu de mal à l'assemblée et comprendre tout son fonctionnement. La trottinette électrique est un peu lourde par contre mais c'est sûrement normal. Elle fait tourner des regards et des collègues en veulent une aussi maintenant.

the 10 inch tire is so much better than my previous one bought from costco. big tires make the ride much smooth and comfy. like the design and easy to carry around. save me some walking time for sure with ease.
