Solid as.
I have used this a couple of times now for changing the direction of pull when winching fallen trees out of the woods with an ATV.It has worked flawlessly and seems well made.Recommended.

Solid, works, well priced and fits over tow ball if required.
The picture does not do this justice. Big enough to drop over a 50mm towing ball hitch to use as a pulling point. I have used it to hoist 150kg sandstone slabs from a cellar and to tension and help fell significant trees. Not used it for vehicle recovery but I cannot see why it would not perform. Sides are made of steel and pulley has a grease nipple for lubrication, relatively weighty but taken care of I think it will last a long time. I give it a quick spray with WD40 and a shot of grease before putting it in it’s case and that’s all it needs to be ready for next time. I bought the 10 tonnes version so that virtually any rope or wire would fit, excellent value for money and 10tonnes is more than enough pull for most uses.
