I've had this Fortress working vest for years. Warm, comfortable, great pocketses, but eventually the usual weak point, the zip, failed.When this arrived it was a dark green, not the olive and black ordered, and by Fort not Fortress. Otherwise very similar. Before I got all uppity and sent it back I did a bit of research. Fort have taken over Fortress and Castle and this is from the new Fort range.So I didn't send it back - I will live with the new colour and still think the vest is excellent, but perhaps the seller should update the listing to reflect what they are actually supplying.

Excellent body warmer, not bulky like most. Plenty of pockets with zips for safety. Long in body to keep back warm.

First, top marks to the seller for fast deliveries. I say deliveries because I got my first one 2 days after ordering. And the same again today.Second, I own a dickies body warmer which I bought from Machine Mart. They're also advertised on Amazon but I wouldn't bother with them now.Third, I'll compare the two.The Lincoln bodywarmer isn't quite as thick as the dickies, and the inside pocket seems to be a bit smaller, but they're the only negatives about the Lincoln. I wear a hoody under either of them so I'm not too bothered about that, and I can still get a note book and my tomtom start in it so I'm not too bothered about that either.The velcro fastenings on the lower pockets of the Lincoln are very sturdy. The ones on one of the lower pockets on the dickies started coming away as soon as I started using it . The dickies an extra inside pocket. That said, the pockets on the Lincoln - the upper outside pockets are bigger, and the zipped pockets are much deeper. One of the zipped pockets has got a hole in it. I can put the same stuff that made the hole into the Lincoln with plenty of room to spare.The Lincoln is well made and seems to be hard wearing. As I mentioned earlier, I bought another one. It gets my vote

Long walks, handy item to utilize when you have a family of 5, the pockets are very large very handy and plentiful, the internal fleasing is cosy, on a cold day keeps you reasonably warm and warm day keeps you cool, it is wind and water proof and the collar keeps the draft out well. However after 2 weeks usage daily the inside pocket has started to tear and separate from the rest of the garment, shame really as I only use this pocket for my wallet , I believe the weight of items in the lower pocket such as dog lead , phone and the occasional can of pop, has pulled the stitching of this pocket down and was able to tare it. Shame really as I was initially very impressed, not so much so now , but it will still be used.

Really pleased with the body warmer/gilet. It is nothing like the green shown it is more like a grey/ blue colour but i actually prefer it.The style and quality seems very good and true to size.

Lighter weight than I’d hoped for and the pockets are a pain to use ., maybe as I get used to it???
