Perfect for overlanders, and truck campers
If you’re into overlanding, truck camping, or any other activity where you are traveling with a power bank capable of powering this, then it really is a game changer in my opinion. No longer do I have to carry a separate stove, gas canister, and pot just to heat water for my coffee. This little unit replaces all of those and heats up the water super quickly. I love the convenience of simply pouring in some water, plugging it in and hitting a button. It has definitely simplified my morning routine a little bit while camping, and I can’t see myself going back to my old setup.

Electric Jet Boil!
I heard about this product for a while and was interested to try it because I have long been a user of the similar but gas powered Jet Boil for backpacking. As I have been doing more car camping lately and already have a large power station in my vehicle, the option of electric was tempting because I have never enjoyed managing the fuel cylinders for the Jet Boil. This Stoke Voltaics electric version really is the perfect replacement for a Jet Boil while adding some extra functionality. I love the selector switch to be able to choose drink so that it shuts off at a boil, food to stay on for cooking food, or the popcorn setting which I have not tried yet. In my testing it is nearly as efficient as a Jet Boil and is very reasonable on power draw from my power station. I won't say that it is totally replacing my old Jet Boil, but it surely will for car camping.

I wish I could give this unit five stars!
This is the second one of these I have purchased. I saw this unit on YouTube a year ago and bought one to run from my Echoflow Delta 2 while camping. The only downside to my first unit was the lid didn't fit properly. But with it's automatic cut out when the water boils and it's build quality I decided the unit was a keeper. We used it to boil water for hot drinks, and washing dishes at camp. Also, on eat mode, we have boiled potatoes, asparagus, and other vegetables, in addition to heating canned soups. Back in April, and about a month outside of warranty, the automatic cut out stopped working. Because I was powering this little device from a battery pack, this was a no go for me. I decided to replace it with a new one and reached out to the company to see if I could get the old one repaired. I left several messages and haven't received a response. The lack of response is the reason for only four stars in my review. I received the new unit, and the lid fits perfectly unlike the old unit. I decided to see if I could repair the old unit myself and took it apart. Although I couldn't repair it, I was impressed with the build quality of the internal components, especially with the three position switch for Boil, Eat, and Pop. It is not a traditionl switch that could fail, but three reed switchs (enclosed magnetic switches). The switch lever has a magnet on the end, and as you move the lever, the magnets moves to one of the three enclosed reed switches causing the switch to close that the magnet is against. This is an excellent design. The design engineers have eliminated a weak point of traditional contact switches that are known to fail. Everything else inside the unit is solid state circuitry including the temperature sensor improving reliability over traditional kettles. I am holding onto my old Joulle hoping that the manufacturer will reach out to me upon reading my review as I would like to have it repaired. As for the my new Joulle, it's working well in boiling water, cooking vegetables, and heating soups while camping and traveling. I haven't used pop mode for popcorn yet, but may experiment and try to brown hamburger or something.

Compact and portable
This product heats water fast enough. It can boil a pot of water in just a few minutes. It is very convenient for making tea, coffee or instant noodles. Moreover, it does not require fuel such as propane and can be used simply by plugging it in. It is highly suitable for use in scenarios such as electric vehicles and recreational vehicles. Most importantly, its security is very high

Use with an Ecoflow 500wh!
I’ve been debating this gadget for awhile and it finally arrived today. Intended for off grid camping with an Ecoflow River 2 Max 500. Upon testing, it took 499w and a timed 6 minutes for a rolling boil utilizing 9-10% of my Ecoflow. Very good decision. Plan to use it to heat Humanitarian MRE’s while boiling water for tea/coffee. Great decision. Worth the purchase.

Nice try, but needs several improvements for the price
This product works as intended, but for well over $100, I expected more. I was hoping for something that would replace a drip coffeemaker that could sufficiently made a couple cups of coffee for 2-3 people. Although the actual volume of the carafe holds that much, you can really only put about 2.5 cups of water in at most, otherwise it boils over onto your counter. Also, for the amount of money put into a product with three different cooking settings (one is to boil water for coffee and tea, the middle setting for warming soup or stew, and the final setting for popping pop corn), there is no "warm" setting to keep the coffee warm you just made. Instead, there's a neoprene sleeve (with graphics akin to a can of Monster Energy Drink) that acts like a coozie. I would have thought at least the carafe would be double-walled like a travel mug, but alas, even this seems to have been cut from the final production plans. The handle for pouring is also a nylon strap attached to the coozie. Last but not least, the first pour of coffee will leave a good amount dribbled all over your counter, as the manufacturer didn't see fit to incorporate a tight seal around the carafe lid. Overall, a mediocre first try at a combo-product, but there's a reason why this is only on Amazon as of right now and not finding its way to QVC or Costco anytime soon. I'd buy the product again after they figure out how to increase the carafe volume, double-wall the carafe, attach a real handle, figure out how to make a lid that seals, incorporate a "warm" setting, and halve the price to about $49.99. Definitely not worth over $100 in this iteration.

French Press Lid Leaks!
I was exciting for the kettle - french press combo, but was found underwhelmed by lack of sealing of the lid. - The first usage was as follows, the kettle boils water quickly enough. - The French Press screen fits tightly, and I didn't have any coffee grounds bypass the screen - When I poured said coffee, the lid that is supposed to seal on the top of the kettle is oversized. I had coffee spill everywhere. As this was my primary reason for purchase I found this to be an absolute fail. I emailed the seller, we will see how the seller responds before returning this product.

Worthy piece of equipment
UPDATE at bottom 11-12-25 Positives definitely out weigh the negatives. I travel for work 85% of the time and of course do most everything with a microwave in a hotel room. Very difficult to eat healthy when limited to that. I bought this around 7 or 8 months ago and have used it primarily to boil water for coffee and things like oats and broths. It has done very well for that. I bought the coffee French press add on as well. Makes great brew. Up until this week I checked into my room and to my surprise no microwave. This is a newer chain, not naming names this is not a hotel review. I was looking at the groceries i purchased wondering wtf am I going to do now. I got this out and prepared my beef stew in it, normally I cook this meal in a Pyrex in the nuke, not so awesome but it’s worked for a long long time. This thing cooked that same meal like literally jaw dropping well. I can not believe it. Years of putting up with this degrading practice, knowing I was doing harm to myself eating nuked food day in day out. Excellent excellent! Never go back again. The negatives of this cooker are very minimal but I’ll put it out there. The cord is way too long. I bought a 2 foot television cord, same end as the other one. The lid is not functional, it falls off easily. It leaks if you try to pour from it. The lid needs to come off of the coffee French press without taking the press apart. I drilled the hole out to a little over 1 inch, step drill bit, works much better. The French press rod is way too long, I cut mine in half and reattached knob. Basically that’s it and I think I will buy another one. UPDATE! It is 11-12-25 My pot bit the dust and no longer works! 8 or so months and that is that. Lowering 5 stars to 2. What a crock of st and the company will not respond, have made several attempts to try and fix it.

Burns food easily :(
It’s OK for boiling water, but the automatic shut off takes a little long to engage. The biggest issue is that the cook teacher will burn your food. It took me about 30 minutes of constant scrubbing to clean this out.
