Does it have instruction on how to start using it ?** A: No instructions included. My suggestion would be to take a class, or have someone who knows how to teach her. It is not hard.... just takes practice and repetition to develop a ryhthm. There are Youtube videos online also. I liked this kit because it was reasonably priced, and included 2 needleholders, and the snippers. Good luck! **Q: Does this work with cross stitch?** A: This tool cannot be used for cross-stitch or making that particular stitch. It works much a sewing machine; there is a top thread and a second thread on the backside of the fabric that locks each stitch in place. You work the thread on the front side only. **Q: where can I get an insstruction book for letters for this product?** A: I couldn't find one. **Q: how do you thread those neeles ?** A: You run thread down the inside to the needle. However threading is not an issue but the fact that it doesn't secure the thread to the fabric was. It only stitches on topside, there's nothing at all on bottom side to keep it secure.
