Replacement for previous discontinued model
Received on time and well packaged. Compatible with the previous model which is now obsolete. Easy to fit, good quality product.

Bought to replace an old wired smoke alarm which had turned cream coloured and looked naff as we had redecorated.Easy to install and looks great.

Plug in connector needs upgrading otherwise good.
Installed three of these to replace BRK’s which are no longer sold in UK. Seems fine other than the power connector between base plate and main unit. The spade connectors are very small and pushed out of the plastic plug when pushed home on two of the three units. Needs beefing up.

Excellent Replacement for our old Smoke Alarms
Easy to replace our existing smoke alarms with the Kidde KF20 as they use the same base fittings. Just wish the company reinforced the fact they should be replaced every 10 years!! Our old ones had been installed when the house was built 21 years ago and the manufacturer has now marked the devices to state they should be replaced in 2034!!

Easy to install
Easy to fit as a replacement for older model smoke detectors. Never had a problem with the previous ones until one of them expired which then reminded me that all of them had reached there 10 year life span. All would have fitted the old base plates but decided to remove the old ones and fit the new ones along with the wiring harnesses too just to complete it.

Compatibility
Perfect replacement for Dicon/BRK 670 detector (now obsolete) and interconnect works fine with other older alarms on circuit.
