how do you fit the fabric onto the window it doesnt seem to come with option of hardware lthough someone talks of it?

All you are buying is the raw fabric. Sorta like when you buy the fabric for a screen door. If you want to make the fabric into a curtain or something, you will have to sew it (or have it sewn) and fasten it. On mine, I sewed a 1.5" double hem across the top. I heated the tip of a screw driver and melted holes 12" apart so I could run screws though it to screw to a rafter. I ran a 1" hem down both sides to give it a clean, strong edge. Then I sewed a 2.5" hem in the bottom and ran a piece of PVC tube though it to secure the bottom. I can also roll it up around the PVC tube inside the bottom hem..

Can you trim this down to smaller than 15 feet, or will it start to fray?

Donna, I have trimmed this fabric and it does not fray. Just to be sure, you should consider folding over the cut area or using an anti frayliquid available at a fabric/sewing store.

How do you install this?

I put it on top of my pergola and used furring strips on every other pergola slat. And a staple gun with heavy duty staples for the ends. The ends I folded over twice, like making a hem, before stapling. Lasted me 7 years and kept my house cool. Replacing it with new one this week. Having my deck and pergola cleaned and repainted.

Why are there no decent pictures of the colors available. You can tell nothing by looking at a roll of the stuff. Come on Amazon.

Look on the Coolaro web site. Better pictures but only show three color options. Not sure why.
