Sentik 12 Litre Premium 1300W White Halogen Oven Cooker + FREE High Rack, Low Rack & Tongs

We bought the Sentik Halogen Oven after my old one gave up the ghost on New Year's Day. This was different from the two previous ones we have had, as the lid appears more open although the container is the same so you could use a previous one. This arrived very quickly and we soon got to use it. We find it is better than the previous ones in that it seems to become hotter, cook things more quickly and crisps items up nicely. It seems to have an extra option which helps in the cooking. We did one of our meals with both the lower and upper shelves and were very pleased with the result. We use the halogen oven more than the conventional oven as it is quicker and easier to use.Addition: After we have had the product 2 anda half years, the bulb went. However, unlike the previous halogen ovens we have had, we were able to take undo the screws, take the old bulb out and add a new one. However, this bulb is for most halogen ovens and it did get very hot but we just turned the oven down and it seems to be working o.k.Addition: I bought the Sentik halogen oven for my friend, Sue, in Liverpool, and it arrived to her 2 days earlier than expected which surprised us both! She has never had a halogen oven before so I am helping her with it via Whatsapp. She is very pleased with it and has used it every day this week. From what I have read, the newer halogen oven are more complex with lots of buttons and a hinged lid which I would not like. They could be dangerous.

Great item that includes a couple of racks. Halogen cooking has saved us so much money compared to using an oven, and it's faster.

While it can take a long time to cook, this multi oven is great both as an oven and as a grill, at the same time. It can basically do every kind of cooking i can think of, except for microwaving and possibly baking (not sure about the latter)

First impressions of this item were very good. It is smart in appearance and seems to be well built. Although a substantial size it fitted in well in our medium-sized kitchen and did not look at all out of place.We did not get around to actually cooking anything in it as when we switched it on the halogen circular light in the lid was so bright it was very intrusive and there was no way to shield it. My wife suffers from migraine and she felt that the light would almost certainly bring on an attack if she was in the same room as the cooker even for a short time. Whilst I am not a migraine sufferer I also felt very uncomfortable being in the same area as the unit.There was no alternative but to return the unit and the company are to be hugely commended for authorising a full refund immediately which was processed quickly via Amazon back to my payment card.We were sorry not to have been able to keep the cooker as in most respects it appeared to be a good purchase - sadly not fully suitable for us though.

This is a great oven - I'm in student accommodation with no actual oven and this has made cooking so much easier, and i can finally make cake!!! its really easy to use and the few times i've used it so far its cooked things really well. The only thing i would say is the wire does not have any heat proof covering on it so can get very hot if the oven is on for long periods or the wire is dangling too close. For the money though, it's ace!

This halogen oven is great much better than my last one! This one has temperature control which last one didn't have. Great for extra oven space especially at Xmas. Also great for saving cooking costs. As I now live alone, I don't have to pre heat my main oven which saves lots of money. Also as bought on line I was able to shop around and saved between £10 and £20 on this item. One very happy customer!

This item does not appear to work properly...it does not cook items in the time stated at the temperature advised. It is either very poor, or faulty. I did pizza and chips for double the stated time, and they were still only mildly warm, and not cooked. I want to return the item, and hopefully, have it replaced, but there is no literature in the box telling me what to do. Please advise. Mr D.G.Evans

These things are great - especially for busy people. The convenience of a microwave with none of the downside. You may think you don't need one but consider this: by the time your conventional oven has got up to working temperature you could have already cooked your chops, fish, chicken breast , oven chips or whatever in a halogen oven. Also great as a standby or auxiliary device for those really busy cooking days such as Christmas dinner or Sunday roast with options. Oh, and they light up the kitchen with a cheery glow. This particular model has served me well. Reliable, robust and just the right size. Easy to clean too.
