Lovely picture and easy to set up.
This TV is an ideal size for a bedroom. The picture quality is excellent - sharp image and glowing colours. Extremely small bezel, so it's nearly all screen! TV sound is good, though I hooked up a sound bar to get even better sound. Fairly easy setup - just had to sign in via mobile device for some of the apps. Home screen helpfully has a "last watching" pane. Search option on home screen will find a program/film or whatever without having to go into the specific app first. Note that this particular model does NOT have a digital out (optical) port for a soundbar connection - earlier models do. It didn't matter for me as I could easily pair my soundbar via bluetooth and that works fine. Could also pair BT headphones for someone to view without disturbing others. Only one USB port, though plenty of HDMI's. Easy to switch between input devices (USB stick, DVD player etc.) All round good TV at a very reasonable price. Update: I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could plug in my 4TB hard drive loaded with hundreds of videos to the TV by USB - and it reads them! Thought that a 4TB drive would be too large. Note: .AVI format is NOT supported. Use the free program โHandbrakeโ to convert the AVIs. Further update: I donโt know why anyone has moaned about the sound quality - itโs perfect, and I donโt need my soundbar at all.

Amazing TV!
I was going to get another tv and after seeing the reviews I added ยฃ50 and got this. Blown away! The TV features the same smart remote found on their much more expensive models and comes with an additional standard remote. I was actually looking forward to the solar powered one mentioned in the specs but I'll take the two! The picture quality is perfect. Sharp and crisp. I've tried it with the Xbox One and it handles it pretty well rivals my 4k AOC gaming monitor and has extra size. Theres a wealth of modes that I'm still exploring and Samsung TV which gives you so many channels on demand it's unreal. The setup for this tv is so easy and step ny step with ambient music. It feels more like you're taking part on the intro to a videogame where you're configuring your character. The sound is awesome. It was the one of the first things i noticesd; I wondered if the music and visuals had been chosen to make it appear to be a great tv and suspected that once I watched my own material that the illusion would collapse, however it just impressed me more. Great value TV i didn't know you could get this quality for this price I was getting this tv as a stop gap and really wanted a projector but I think I'll stick with it! I've already recommended it to others, if you're buying in this price range you won't be disappointed!

A perfect buy
Was looking for a budget friendly tv to buy for my gaming, this tv is amazing for that, came with 2 remote controls, very sturdy easy to set up and I have been using for over 2 years with great picture quality and amazing screen, connects to my laptop easily and my iPhone.

Excellent picture quality, but it's not their top model for features
I bought this because the price seemed reasonable and it was slightly larger than my current TV. It's not particularly heavy, and easy enough for a single person to get out the box, assemble and lift onto wherever it is going. It comes with some plastic feet, but annoyingly I found they were too wide for my corner TV stand, so check the width before ordering. It has a VESA on the back so you can mount it onto a different stand than the feet, which is what I did. It looks smart, and the screen itself feels very high quality. The picture quality is very bright and sharp, however I find this is only for HD streams. Standard terrestrial broadcast from the aerial is extremely poor, with things like news line text often hard to read at all. The picture is muddy and fuzzy, which wasn't the case with my previous TV on the same aerial. Change to a HD channel and this is fixed instantly, but for non-HD you may be disappointed. It claims to have some kind of up-scaling, but that certainly isn't my experience. The sound seems fine, if a little quieter than my previous TV. When you turn it on, it is a bit of a faff getting it going each time It takes a while to start, and always takes you to a home screen, which from there you have to navigate around a little. After selecting what to watch, it then sometimes 30 seconds later takes you to a page about what you are watching, which you weren't particularly wanting, so you have to explicit press 'Exit' on the remote. If you press 'Return' by accident, it gets confused and takes you to the home section again. I suspect that anyone who is a bit technophobic will find this TV a little confusing. It also seems that 90% of the features require broadband, and are smart app-based, so this isn't the model if you are looking for a bog-standard TV. This is clearly one of Samsung's lower end models, and basic features I expected like being able to pause or record live TV onto an external USB drive are not supported at all. It comes with two remote controls, although this isn't entirely obvious why. As a plus, there were batteries supplied for both. That said, the picture quality is good enough to make up for its failings, so it is worth buying for that alone.

Amazing quality very clear 55" TV
My son loves this TV, it's far clearer than one I bought for double the price. The picture quality is unbelievable and it was extremely reasonably priced. Highly recommend this product Still going strong years later It has all the free view channels and lots of apps.

lovely tv that's a little quiet
this was a downgrade in size from our 50" LG telly but an upgrade in most other respects. The sound is a little low but it's no worse than the previous one and we only replaced that because it looked too big mounted on the chimney breast. We'll say the sound is adequate and you might want to invest in a soundbar or similar to enhance movie night. Picture is great and the bevel is nice and small. The remote has divided our household as my wife doesn't like it but I do. Was a simple matter to set up an all-for-one remote for her. Connecting to the Wifi was pretty simple and definitely better than with our error prone LG TV. Everything including the apps for Netflix, Prime, etc all work flawlessly so far (bought this in November 2023 and reviewing in April 2024) so I would definitely recommend and would buy again, especially at such a low price.

Great Smart TV
After five years of faithful service, my old LG TV decided to call it quits. Disappointed, but needing a replacement, I started my research and landed on the Samsung CU7100. Let me tell you, it's been a fantastic upgrade! Speed Demon: Compared to my old LG, the Samsung is a cheetah to a sloth. Everything feels instantaneous, from turning it on to navigating the menus. No more waiting for ages for the TV to catch up! Picture Perfect: The picture quality is a whole new level of amazing. Colors are vibrant and rich, and blacks are deep and inky. Watching movies and shows feels like I'm right in the middle of the action. Samsung Synergy: Pairing the CU7100 with a Samsung soundbar was a breeze. Now my living room sounds just as incredible as it looks. Immersive sound makes movie nights even more enjoyable. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with my switch to the Samsung CU7100 50 inches screen size. It's a fantastic upgrade from my old LG in every way - speed, picture quality, and sound. If you're looking for a new TV, I highly recommend checking it out!

Overrated for Quality & Sound - 1 Star
I selected this TV because I wanted a TV with a reputable name for delivering quality and outstanding sound. Unfortunately, Samsung have failed miserably. I am completely downhearted and I also feel that I have let myself down for being sucked in by the marketing gimmicks. The 55" version was supposed to be a 4K Smart TV with object-tracking sound as advertised. This is completely false and fabricated media hype up. The sound is very low, compared to my previous TV which I used to listen to at a volume level of 18 to 20. However, on this so-called top of the range technology 2023 TV, the volume needs to be around about 57 and above. For me to be able to comfortably listen to this, I would have to outlay a further cost for a subwoofer and soundbar. If we weren't in such a troublesome time economically, I would have thrown this TV in the bin, but I do not have the money to replace it. So I will be kicking myself for many more years to come. The manufacturer Samsung have these TVs built in Slovakia. The TV also comes with no date of manufacturing, (why not?) despite claiming to be manufactured in 2023. All the TVs that I have researched and owned all clearly show the manufacturers date because they have nothing to hide. The big question - why is Samsung hiding this? I believe they are using old stock and misleading the public, thinking that they are getting the latest technology. Don't be fooled and research well.
