I bought this pen to tattoo my rabbits, as my rabbit tattoo pen gave out after only 1 summer. :-( PROS: Easy to use: was able to start right away, no need for extensive training Variable: Able to change depth of needle and speeds with ease Quick: changing needle cartridge is super fast and easy, no need to go over lines multiple times Lightweight: was able to use it all day without fatigue Powerful: Able to tattoo thick skin with ease Solid durable construction: Outside shells is metal, dropped it once, kept running like a top 3 different speeds: I mostly used the fast speed, but I love having the option of slower speeds Easy to clean: since it has a metal casing, I wiped mine down with alcohol, which helps remove excess ink and makes clean up a breeze Very cost effective: If you want a decent tattoo pen without the major cost, this is a great option for anyone who needs a great tattoo pen without the cost of more elaborate models CONS: Needle cartridge refills: each needle is approximately a dollar (box of ten for $9.99), so if you change your needles frequently it could get a little costly Plug in: must plug into an outlet. I chose this version, not only is it cheaper, but I like the fact I won't have power issues affecting the quality of my lines. They do however have a version that is cordless and stores a charge for those who don't want to deal with plugging into an outlet. Be aware though that the cordless version comes at a higher price.

I have been using these PMU needles for a while and been quite satisfied. In addition, the price is reasonable also.
