LOVE! Quality is great, zero issues. Great size for large loaves, see photos. I wish I should have switched to wood pulp baskets years ago. I tend to do high hydration loaves and these make a big difference by absorbing excess moisture from the surface making the dough firmer for scoring. l never would have guess how much of an improvement this would make on my loaves. I wish it came with a cover. Tip, still sprinkle the baskets with rice flour.

These are not cheap, but work better, so if you are serious about making good sourdough, these are what you want.

Great product, although the shipping in a plastic Amazon bag with no protection will likely damage the edges of your banneton. Good luck and watch out for used items that are partially damaged being reshipped to you.

Bulka bannetons are absolutely wonderful. They absorb excess water and are just wonderful…Note: one thing you need to do to get the banneton healthy is after baking your bread, lower oven temp to 200 degrees, and place banneton in oven for 20 minutes, then remove and allow to cool completely. The pic shows one on the left (2 years old) that I use for breads with seasonings as well plain sourdough. The one on the right has only been used for a month.

Very pleased with this product. The pattern and material clearly different than the typical round bannetons which make beautiful circles on boules. This one flours very nicely. I bake large loaves using 1000 grams of flour and 75-80% hydration depending on the type of flour. The final mix of close to 1800 grams fits perfectly in this basket for final proof. Using parchment paper to invert, the doughs release easily to go directly in oven. The basket cleans easily once dry with a soft toothbrush. Seems like this will be a durable product.

I am very happy with this purchase - I bought both the oval and round bannetons from Bulka. They make beautiful loaves! They have seriously upped my sourdough game.

Very nice product, I’m lucky I haven’t ruined it as you should make sure it dries well for storage as you don’t wash it you just brush off the excess flour. Dough has never stuck to the basket. I like these because you do not have to use a cloth in the bottom like you do the rattan baskets

This has to be the worst product I've ever bought on Amazon. For someone with stomach issues, which is why I make my own bread, this thing could have major health consequences. The wood fibres constantly shed, so picture that in your belly, colon and intestines every time you eat bread that you make in this banneton. Not only that, you can't wipe the banneton with anything wet or even damp, as the surface of the banneton literally dissolves away every time you wipe it, and ruins the pattern. Fancy packaging doesn't hide the significant health issue. A total waste of money.
