After using my last braces for several years, they finally wore out. These are the modernized version of what I had before by the same maker. This newer style is smaller without sacrificing any of the stability, making them even more comfortable than the original model. These are really worth it

This has been giving me so much relief. My ankle is very swollen and the brace they offered at the doctor was too small. This one works. The cold gel pads feel amazing and are providing great relief. The brace is easy to put on. I feel supported and stable.

This product is so-so. If you just need something you can wear that chills your ankles, then this is for you. However, it is not very comfortable and does not offer much lower leg support. It is a bit shorter than it needs to be for the support I need, and the gel packs are sharp in places and uncomfortable, even with a long sock on. The outer plastic pieces are sturdy enough. There is an awful lot of velcro to deal with, but once you get it all sorted out, it does hold the brace in place just fine and it seems sturdy as well. For the price, I guess I shouldn't expect the world. Basically, it helps with my ankle swelling, but does nothing for ankle support.

This brace was ok at first. It could've been better with more gel. I've now had it for 8 months (only need it very rarely), and the gel is solidified. It's not squishy anymore so it's very uncomfortable. No holes or anything so I'd assume maybe this material isn't suitable for keeping the gel in good shape over time. Pretty disappointing.

It is nice and supportive. I wish I would have ordered the one with foam inserts instead of the gel. The gel is great for cooling, but does not work as well with walking and shoes.

With an ankle that has been abused on the soccer fields and tennis courts, I was getting to the point of not being able to walk very far without pain and wobbling. I put it on and immediate stability. It works. Now using it for about a month, I am much more confident and can walk further. The operation of the unit is awkward since it can get turned inside out, for example. That makes it more difficult to reorganize before putting it on. Probably not good for the elderly. Also, due to the Velcro, it begins to fuzz up a little. But, for the price, it delivers.

This is a good product to help support the ankle. I had one before which was not so effective - this one is lined with silicone cushions which protect your ankles from rubbing. For a removable splint, this model is the way to go!

this brace is 95% great but the top and bottom straps are made of different materials. the top strap is good it holds its shape and does not stretch. the bottom strap stretches out and thins down so the plastic loop turns sideways and the velcro is much wider than the strap so ot irritates your leg. WHY THEY DID NOT MAKE THE BOTTOM STRAP THE SAME AS THE TOP? this choice destroyed the functional use of this product.
