I only write reviews if a product is excellent and this mower certainly is! It was easy to assemble and it cuts the grass beautifully. The best thing of all you can cut wet grass as another reviewer pointed out. I had no trouble at all with the grass collection box and very easy to uncle and clip on again when disposing of grass. It also made great stripes on my lawn which the hover mower couldn’t do. Such great value for £57!!

My garden was a jungle and it was wet, so it would have blown out electric mower. Purchased at sale price. Nice and lightweight and does a good job. However, I used this on a mess of a garden with quite high and tangled grass and it took a few hours, with some breaks as it's a fair bit of push work on long grass. I do have blisters from using this as the rubber handles rub when used a lot, if your grass is going to be a lot of effort, I'd say use gloves to help prevent the blisters off the rubber handles. This product is probably best used to keep on top of your grass, which would make it an easy, quick job when it isn't as out of hand as mine was. I'm absolutely in love with this mower. It does a great job and there's no cable to accidentally run over like I may have done with my last electric one (: As a 5ft4 white girl with no upper arm strength I do find this to be a workout, but our land is quite hilly. If you have a flat property I imagine this will be just fine. The grass catcher works okay, but I abandoned it pretty much after its first use. I haven't figured out how to lower the blades yet but the setting it arrived with works great for me. The assembly was okay, the hardest part was putting the handles on. Tbh I've never assembled so much as a drawer, so I was really quite impressed with myself to do this! Highly recommend, it's great value for money.

The manual totally lacked clarity. I received a rather bruised arm trying to fit the handle to the mower part. I threw out the scrawny bits of wire that turned out to be vital! A neighbour put it together in the end for me. Suggest you wear an anorak and thick gloves when attempting to assemble. The mower is ok as no electricity is needed and it cut summer shreddy looking grass quite well.

Brought as a quick buy as my old mower broke and my garden is starting to look like a jungle. Cheap and cheerful buy arrived the following day. Was easy to set up. Cuts the grass brilliantly have to go over the same spot a few times due to how long my grass is and hard to push over some clumps of grass I have but overall I’m quite impressed and don’t have to bugger about with extension leads and it’s very quite. Great buy!

hover mowers and push mowers are roughly the same size and price, so here are Reasons push mowers are better than a hover mower 1, You can cut wet grass Yep you heard me - no longer waiting around for the right moment just to have it dashed by a sudden down pour. 2, They cut the grass like scissors rather than like an (often blunt) sword The scissor action is far gentler on the grass and fairly easy to maintain the sharpness - only had to adjust once in 6 months so far. 3, The height can be set quite high Now hover movers do have this function, but it's usually a choice of close or very close. I have even had them scalp the lawn where a bump occurred. They take the grass so far down that usually my neighbours lawns look dead for several weeks as little viable green is left above ground. My push mover leaves about 2 inches (highest setting) and it really does wonders for the lawn's health above and below ground. 4, It can handle long grass somewhat better Mainly because long grass will stay wet and thus more likely to rip with a hover mower. 5, It's a lot of fun Hover Mower owning Neighbours are constantly borrowing it - it's a bit more laborious but a greater feeling that you're cutting the lawn, not just pointing an autonomous whirring blade of death at it. 6, if things go wrong you can stop quickly You can snag a twig - just stop and remove it. When a hover mower goes rogue with a stone or other obstacle it can do a lot of damage before it's stopped. 7, There are no spare parts no new blades, no essential spacers -maybe grab yourself a metal file, otherwise it's just you and this mower for life. Things that aren't as good 1, It does take more effort You are pushing it about and you often have to make a few passes. I wouldn't recommend this for large lawns for just that fact. But otherwise it's part of the fun and satisfaction of doing it. 2, it has a 4 inch gap on each side So you can only cut up to 4inches close to walls - Hover movers have a similar, but smaller limitation. Does mean u have to go round after with garden scissors or strimmer to tidy edges, but no drama. Lastly you can get a cuttings catcher, but just get a plastic garden rake (the only kind that should go near grass!! (except when scarifying....)) and jobsagoodun. Good lawn mower, very easy to assemble, useful product info and assembly instructions. Sold the bigger one (18in) after a few weeks use, found it too heavy (13kg) and purchased the smaller one (14in/9kg) - perfect for a small lawn and better size/weight for me. Only need to assemble the handle and attach to mower - 4 bolts & 2 pins. Easy to operate, push operation by hand, cuts well out of the box - hopefully it will be just as good after a number of mows. The mower was fully assembled in the box - seems pretty solid and well built - 9/10. Handle is a okay, 4 parts to assemble/attach, could be stronger steel - 8/10. Mower is unbranded Amazon product, likely a clone of a more expensive product. Good weight for mowing, mostly steel, very little plastic, should function well over time (no catcher with the smaller one which is ok, dont find the catcher useful when mowing) All push reel mowers have very sharp cutting action on grass, so operate with care and keep away from children.

Inutile dire che mi sono sbagliato alla grande. ❗️ PRO Pratico, anche se avete 30 minuti potete mettervi a dare una tagliuzzata veloce all’erba del giardino senza sporcarvi e riporre il tagliaerba velocemente Taglia piuttosto bene anche erbacce grosse Molto più silenzioso dei tagliaerba a motore Manutenzione semplicissima Taglia bene anche in pendenza ❓ CONTRO Altezza di taglio un po’ troppo alta, preferirei poterla abbassare di più Necessità più passaggi per un taglio omogeneo

Perfetto per prati di piccole dimensioni, molto silenzioso e rilassante da usare. Se avete un giardino non troppo grande fa al caso vostro, ma attenzione a non far passare troppo tempo fra i tagli perché non gestisce benissimo l'erba alta.
