Snail, Escargot, Dining Set for TWO people consisting of two 6 hole vitrified porcelain snail dishes / plates with handles and two stainless steel Snail Tongs and Snail Forks.

This is a very nice little set for serving escargots with style - far nicer imho than the ubiquitous stainless steel plates. Another bonus is that, although these are not billed as oven-proof, they definitely are!! I pop them into an oven at 200 degrees for 4-5 minutes - until the snails are warm and the garlic butter has melted - without any problem. I'm going to order another two sets so that I can serve snails to six people as a dinner-party starter. Highly recommended!!

Dishes are nice but way to small to be of any real use. Can just about squeeze 5 snails.Tongs are not up to much, wrong shape to hold the shell at the right angle.Forks are fine.

My Christmas present to myself. Not yet used in anger, but will be !
