Are they waterproof? If it's raining will my hands get wet wearing them?

The gloves are waterproof. But the open fingers will get your hands wet

All my gloves (motorcycle, winter, yard work) are size large. I ordered the size large on these workout gloves and they fit like large. I do not pay attention to the measurement numbers. I would recommend ordering the same size your hands fit with other gloves you use.

I want to replace my current gym gloves as they smell terrible after 2-3 years. Do these gloves become smelly over time?

They are not smelly, I haven't used gloves that long, but was wondering if you could soak them in soapy water and rinse them off and let them dry?

Are these weight lifting gloves good for pulling ropes and straps?

Yes, they have very good grip and the foam pad seems very sturdy.

Offer some support

Quite good but not as padded as I’d like and the grip is not excellent. However offers some support for my fingers which were getting sore with using hand weights/kettle bells. I like the longer fingers and they are nice and flexible, on the positive side.
