Great Little Weather Station
I don’t typically go to the trouble to write reviews but I had to for this product. This little weather station is fantastic. The screen is beautiful. Easy to read from all angles and bright enough to see from across the room. Setup was a breeze. I was expecting to have to wait hours for the time and outside weather sensor to calibrate, however the time set itself almost immediately and the temperature indicator started to slowly drop to the outside temp as soon as I hung it up. I read reviews and researched the other 2 popular brands in this category and I’m really pleased I chose this one. The screen isn’t cluttered with a bunch of stuff you don’t need unless you’re the TV weather man. Perfect for my bathroom showing the time, indoor/outdoor humidity and temperature. I’ve had several of these over the years made by its two major competitors and have to say this one outshines both of them for visibility. If I have to gripe about something, I wish the outdoor sensor had a built in hold or loop on the top in order to hang it from a string from an eve or wood deck railing. All it has is a wall hanging hole in the back. Can’t vouch for the long time performance as I just purchased it but at the moment it seems to be accurate giving me readings similar to other temperature/humidity devices I have in the house. I like it so much I’m thinking about the older competitors model I have in the kitchen that still works fine.

Great weather station!!
I love this weather station. It works as promised. It is bright and large enough that I can read it from across the room. Very easy to set up. It immediately connected with the outdoor sensor so I didn’t need to configure it. It says not to put it near a tv, but mine is working fine on the tv stand. If you’re using batteries, the screen dims to protect the battery life so I keep mine plugged in. I highly recommend this product!!!

Station screen goes off 7 mins every hour because of WWVB
The weather station looks beautiful but the setup is a little tricky. To connect your sensor successfully, you must make sure the sensor has the batteries and up running before you put batteries on the station (or plug it on electric outlet), because if you turn on the station before you turn on the sensor, the station will not connect to the sensor. You'll have to manually switch the station channels to trigger the connection. Another issue is that the brightness button is placed at a position where a human will tend to place fingers to press the buttons in the back of the station. Trying to press the setup buttons by holding the station to secure it when pushing its rear button will change the brightness level even if you didn't mean to change the brightness because the brightness button is exactly at the natural position needed to hold the station and press the rear setup buttons with one hand. That's a very bad design. They could've just put the brightness button in the back (or to the side) just like the other buttons or put it on the right side out of the way where a hand and fingers won't naturally sit in and press the other buttons in the back. The weather station Q3 has a better design with all the buttons including the brightness button located on the right side. Unfortunately the Q7 doesn't. The sensor never lost connection(started losing connection a couple of times but not a recurrent issue) which is good but I wish it had a hole to hang or attach it which is more secured than just the back hole option for hanging it on a wall only. So far, the temperature reading are consistent always +1 degree Fahrenheit compared to my echo dot and my Google nest thermostat 4th generation. I've also tested the sensor indoor and it had the same exact temperature as the weather station itself. So, if your station or sensor has 80° F, then the real temperature is 79° F. Update(09/04/23): I found out you can turn off the auto WWVB signal search. You hold the mode button for 3secs, the daylight saving(DST) will start flashing, then press the mode button 7 times to cycle through the menu(once=set Year, 2=set Month, 3=set day, 4=set 24hr format or 12hr format, 5=set hours, 6=set minutes, 7=set WWVB, 8=exit). Once you reach the WWVB, you'll see a triangle flashing, then use the UP or DOWN button to turn on/off the WWVB. If you don't turn off the WWVB and you live in a region where the signal cannot reach you, the weather station device will keep on turning off for 7 minutes every hour for 24 hours which totals almost 3 hours of black screen everyday. I find this device having too many black screens everyday and the problems always come from either the WWVB signal search, or the electricity going off in my area for a short time, or I accidentally touched the light dimming on top of the device(see 2nd picture above), or I accidentally pulled the electric cable and no electricity was coming to the device. So, I'll advise you to check those issues that I've mentioned in case you have similar black screens. It's also wise to put 3 AA batteries even if you're going to plug it on electricity to keep the screen ON all the time. If you don't put batteries on it and you have electric shortage in your area, the device will turn off and lose all the preset date, time zone, time...

Piece of Junk
Piece of junk and inept customer service (CS).. Initial placement on residence front office desk with window view of adjacent front porch, where transmitter was located on a porch roof post support. Weather station (WS) was adjacent to desktop pc. WS worked fine for around 7-10 days. Then outside temperature and humidity display went blank, NEVER TO RETURN. Then placed WS about 10 feet away, but malfunction continued. I reported issue to manufacturer (MF) customer service, who promptly responded with very technical suggestions over my head. Customer service did apologize and offered a couple more suggestions, of which I do not remember specifics. Lets pause for a moment PREVIOUS OWNERSHIP: Several years I owned an identical product from another manufacturer, which worked successfully for many years at one location. IMPORTANT INFO: Weather station placed on same desk location, with transmitter about 40-45 feet away, within screened back porch, with three walls and an enclosed stairway in between. (WS2). Then I had a rare brainstorm (BS). I decided to set up WS and its transmitter, at WS2 location. No display. Boo! Then my brain had another bright idea. (BS2). Brace yourself. ) I then moved WS to back porch, placed on table, around 6-7 feet away from transmitter. Nothing in between. Surely this would solve issue. DEAD WRONG! DEAD IN WATER!! NO DISPLAY OF TEMP & HUMIDITY. INFORMED CUSTOMER SERVICE OF TESTS. Nightmare continues. Waste of time. CS first comment was to try BS2! WHAT? THAT THE TEST I HAD JUST DESCRIBED. DING DONG! MY TRASH CAN GOT MORE JUNK. End of story. Ten

Clear display and accurate readings!
Excellent weather station with a very clear display and great price. Easy to set up, with accurate readings. Compared with other weather stations I have, the temperature and humidity readings were either exactly the same as the others or very close. Atomic clock connected. Definitely recommended!

Good enough for my purposes
October 28, 2021 Ok, I figured out the atomic clock time problem. DST shifts the time by 2 hours, not 1. So, right now, to get it to sync properly while in DST (it will change in a few weeks), I need to turn OFF DST, then make my time zone Mountain even though I live in the Pacific. If I try Pacific time zone, neither DST settings of OFF or ON give me the correct time - it will either be late by an hour or early by an hour. So when the time change happens, I'll just change the time zone instead of dealing with the DST settings. Also, I'm finding the display going blank for 7 minutes at every update annoying. I understand that once it syncs, it won't do that during the daytime hours, but I'm often working when it does it at 1AM, 2AM, 3AM, 4AM, 5AM. So I have just turned off the atomic clock feature. Otherwise, I'm fairly happy with it. I'm ignoring the forecast picture. I just wanted fairly accurate temperatures, humidities, an atomic clock, bright display, readable at night from 12 feet away. I can't use the atomic feature, so a few stars off but I'll keep the unit because I can't be bothered with debugging another unit. The outdoor sensor I happened to get was within 1F accuracy, but the indoor reads too warm by about 3F. Good enough for me, and I just subtract 3F in my head. I'd give 2.5 stars... will just leave it at 3 for now. I only have 1 sensor, so cannot comment on multiple sensor use. Also, cannot really use the other functions well - like dew-point, min/max because the buttons are on the back, but they are there if I need them occassionally. To get something better in those respects, I need to spend at least 5x more. ==== October 26, 2021 Reducing from 5* to 3*. I thought the time had synchronized properly, but it is off an hour. I have [P] timezone and DST Auto/On, but the clock is too fast by 1 hour. Changing to one of the other North American timezones exacerbates the problem. ==== October 26, 2021 I wanted, and it has: - Bright display, fairly large digits - Accuracy is within a few degrees. Good enough. Even putting the remote sensor next to the unit showed about 3 degrees difference between the two. - I found it pretty easy to use - but that's subjective. I'd say don't throw the manual away. - Light weight. Hanging mine from a thumbtack in drywall (from a string knotted in both the hanging holes). - 3 brightness levels, but I use the brightest and like it. Issues: - I wouldn't bother with the alarm feature. I haven't used that, but the buttons are on the back and I already inadvertently changed the timezone when hanging it back on the wall. - The atomic clock receiver is a bit weak. I had to move it to another room to get it to sync. - It was blanking every hour for 7 minutes while trying to sync. If it doesn't sync/calibrate, I think it will still do that overnight at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5AM. I'll find out over the next few nights as I'm often active then, but need to remember to look at it at the top of the hour. - I would like a way to manually calibrate the temp, but meh. - Would be nice to have a center slot to hang it from - it just has 2 with a 4-ish inch separation. I worked around that.

Newentor Wetterstation

Very good value but see review
Aimed at US customers. Daylight saving time (if armed) will happen when the clock goes back in the US, not when it does in the UK or Europe..
