Confirming other reviewers that the storage box for these bits is the worst. I originally though "how bad could the box be?" Well, it's unusable. Each bit is seated within a plastic tube that the shank of the bit fits into. This is a *very* tight fit. Makes it unsafe to try and remove the bit. Instead of the bit coming out of the plastic tube, the tube comes out of the hole in the wooden "shelf".The problem is that the wood used for both the box and the "shelves" is very thin and cheap. Thus, when you put a bit back into it's hole, the wood usually cracks/breaks between this hole and the next bit. On arrival, 3 of the bits were already rolling around in the box because their shelf had cracked. I had several others crack just with removing and replacing bits.Basically I'll be moving all of these bits into a different storage system. The latch mechanism is also very flimsy and cheap.Haven't used the bits yet, so giving them the benefit of the doubt, but will update this if I run into issues.

This is an extensive set of 1/2" router bits that would be great for anyone who just upgraded from a 1/4" shank router to its beefier cousins. I haven't used every bit in this set just yet, but the ones I have used have left smooth, clean cuts (when used properly) on pine and oak. Will they last forever? Probably not, as my experience with router bits at this value level shows that they'll start to wear out after a handful of uses. But so far, they're great.

I'm really happy with this set of routers and the variations included for this price. I don;t use my router every day, so it's just nice to have so may options when I do need it. The blades are nice and sharp, but can't speak for the durability in the long run yet. Will update if any problems.

Now I have to wait another 48hrs to do this project. But I’ll just return this and get another one.

I've bought other KOWOOD router bits in the past and always been very satisfied with them. Apparently the blue ones are a slightly more basic level, so I'm not expecting them to last as long as top-of-the-line bits, but for a hobiest who doesn't do routing every single day, these should work great and last plenty long enough. I had been using 1/4 inch bits pretty much exclusively, and I wanted to start getting into 1/2 inch sizes without breaking the bank. This set will allow me to do that.The box they come in is fine. I wish it had a clear lid, like some of the other sets. And I wish it would sit upright, but the hinges make that tough. Neither of those are deal breakers for the set, however.The inclusion of slot and rabbit bits is a nice addition. You don't always see those in these multi-kits.
