Q: Where can I purchase the rest of the plastic trumpet that attaches to this training device?

There are no attachments. This device is to practice your embouchure/armature and fingering.

Q: Do the valves make any noise when being pushed down? Are they spring-operated?

They make a little noise, but not much. They are spring operated, but the bigger problem is that the spring makes them the hardest valves to push in my 50 years of playing trumpet.

No, it’s not a bad joke those are for sale. The tool actually helps me a lot. If I’m going on a trip and I don’t have my trumpet with me I take that instead.

Q: Do the valves produce the same tones as a regular trumpet or are they just finger exercisers?

Just finger exercises- have to buzz different tones same as when buzzing a mouthpiece. But I really like the product- feels just like playing trumpet- am using it when I travel and can’t take or play a horn. Works much better for me than just mouthpiece buzzing.
