This is a very good, versatile product. I’m writing this review during a typical, actual use of the snap: I’m sleeping out in a mosquito infested words, with no tarp or any other covering because the weather is gorgeous, and I am able to enjoy the woods without the constant drone of mosquitoes in my ear (Or bites on my skin). A simple tree branch above you is all you need to hold up the net. The net itself can either be tucked snugly around the perimeter of the sleeping pad you are using, and it has a drawstring for this purpose, or can we use the way I am using it now – it has stake loops that allow you to stake it out in a fairly wide area around you, giving you a lot of living room. It’s basically like a well ventilated, one person tent for fair weather. The mesh is extremely fine, and this has two benefits: first, of course, it keeps out every conceivable insect. But second, in the dark, it essentially disappears from view, and gives you the feeling that you are just sleeping under the stars out in the open. Very, very pleasant. A well-designed product.

das war ein toller kauf. ich reise alleine und habe trotzdem das große netz genommen. zum glück! denn oft schlaft man auf einem doppelbett und das kleine netz ließe sich da nicht drauf montieren. das große netz passt jedoch dank kordelzug problemlos auf ein kleines bett drauf. man kann in jedem hotelzimmer improvisieren. aufhängen z.b. an der vorhangstange, an der stange des kastens, oder zwischen türschanier und fenster eine schnur hängen und an der schnur dann aufhängen. das netz ist superklein und leicht. außerdem ist es sehr robust. ich blieb oft mit einem zackigen ring hängen, trotzdem riss das netz nicht wie erwartet auf. die maschen sind sehr feinmaschig, da kommt also wirklich nichts durch.ich reise gerne mit sehr wenig gewicht im rucksack und würde das netz jederzeit wieder einpacken. es hat sich gelohnt und mich vor verzweifelt schlaflosen nächten bewahrt. es ist so ein schönes gefühl wenn man das nervige summen der moskitos zwar hört, aber weiß, dass sie einen nicht erwischen können.
