I wish I had known this device existed before spending $4500 at my chiropractor’s office on a decompression therapy. They had these giant computer controlled machines that do the exact same thing as this affordable device. I’ve used it twice now, and fully intend on doing the 21 day challenge, and doing this therapy every day thereafter. I can’t walk or stand for more than a few minutes before my left thigh goes numb and my right thigh rides the lightening. I have to stop, look around, move out of the way and bend over at the waist for a minute or two before continuing on with shopping. I’m sure people wonder what in the world this strange man is doing. If there’s a chair to sit in for a few minutes I do that instead. If I’m home cooking, I have to sit down when this happens. I have high hopes for this device. Both times I’ve used it, letting it pull for 5 minutes, then pulling the release strap for a minute and doing this for 20 minutes, I feel so much better. I think this device will do what it’s inventor says it will. If you have compressed disks in your lumbar, I recommend trying this device. You will probably need to use both hands when using the release strap. It does take some strength to hold the release strap for a minute. But hey, you’re building arm strength! Try it, I think you’ll like it.

I finally got one that didn't have defective wedges to help support my legs while decompressing my spine. I had to return the defective one and buy a new one TWICE (for some reason they didn't have the exchange option for this product) before getting one that wasn't defective. I knew this product would work if everything did its job. I would recommend getting the one that does NOT come with the inflatable wedges and just purchase those separately. The return and exchange process cost them a star on the rating.

All of it is a no. First - it doesn't really do anything. The idea is right... This contraption is not. Second. It broke immediately. 3rd. Go to home depot and get you some heavy duty Bungee cords maybe a HD spring. You can make your own Hammock out of sheets or whatever. If you're doing your head! A belt works great. You get the idea Anywho! You'll need a yoga mat if you don't have carpet and for the price of this thing, it should come with one. The "release" pull should really be a ratchet system with a release button on it. It should REALLY be attached to the top of the door, not the freaking door handle. That's stupid. For handles break and the direction from which you are being pulled from should be UP not across. Even if it worked, it's not worth the money. Also! That little triangle foam pillow you see is not a foam pillow. It's a blow up pillow.

When a back injury needs something like this it needs to be easier to set up, as it is difficult for the user to maneuver to accommodate the device. May update this review after trying it again after PT and pain subsides some.

Just snapped as soon as I tried to use it. This has happened with 9/10 of the past items I've ordered from fisher. Terrible quality control. Great product, terrible quality though.
