The Zombie Tarot Cards: An Oracle of the Undead with Deck and Instructions

I got this deck as I already have a few other Tarot decks and was drawn to the theme. The cards themselves are good quality and the images are clear (if a little graphic for some). The 1950's theme is accentuated by the sepia effect on the cards, giving the feel of something that's been long forgotten in a cupboard. As other reviews have stated, the box is made to resemble a box of bullets (on the lower half there are bullets printed on the outside) and the back pages of the guide book have 1950's style adverts on them. In keeping with the zombie theme, some of the traditional tarot symbols have been replaced with themed items e.g Wands are shown as bones in this deck and Pentacles are replaced with "hazards" (biohazard symbols). However this does not affect their meaning or interpretation in any way. In fact many of the images made me laugh!This deck can be used in the same way as any other tarot deck, bearing in mind your potential audience. While those experienced in these things will likely find this deck amusing and fun, those less knowledgeable and hence susceptible to the scaremongering around tarot cards may find the whole theme disturbing. While drawn in a cartoon style, many of the images are quite graphic, depicting dismembered human bodies and exposed innards.

I very rarely review products I've bought on Amazon, but Zombie Tarot is well worth the effort.What a great set of tarot cards! I don't collect Tarot, I just bought these on a whim and was very pleased with the quality of the cards, box and booklet. The designs are fantastic. Funny, retro. It must have taken the procers ages to design.Brill!

Beautiful deck for a zombie/tarot lover like me, I've never been so excited about a tarot deck arriving in the post. I love the novelty factor but also the work that's gone into each image in the deck and of course each card has the same meanings as your normal Rider Waite deck. The little booklet that comes with these is so cool as it's been printed in a pre 50s era style and the container itself definitely makes this deck a collector's item. I literally found this after giggling to myself that if I searched for a zombie tarot deck there would be nothing available but here it is and it was defintely made for me 😂🙌

I don't collect tarot cards although I did used to read them when I was younger, this was more an impulse and something I could practice on.The whole package is high quality from a nice thick box to the quality card stock, the artwork is also excellent.In conclusion this is definitely worth a purchase.

These cards are a little delightful i love that someone created a deck that's different from the usual ones you can buy. Although I do feel that these are something i will use near Halloween time or if somebody wants a spooky reading but i feel for the rest of the time they are too gloomy for me so i probably won't use them as much. I bought them because I wanted to add something different to my Tarot & Oracle collection so went with something that isn't really me but more for if i have any guests round that fancy a reading and can choose any of my unique or randomly designed decks , these being one of them. I think the artwork is brilliant and some of them i can interpret quickly i do feel though that while there is the hazard part of the cards the rest sticking to the original being swords cups and wands is a let down i feel they could of been more creative with the whole of the deck .. hazards (pentacles, brains (cups), flesh (wands), rifle (swords) just an idea and would of been something more along the lines of my preference and i think then i would of liked them a lot more. But i don't regret buying them they are a joy to add to my collection. And would definitely recommend them to other buyers.

Opted to edge and ink up this deck.. it was screaming for it with its old days look. Great cards that get your head ticking and the guide book is a joy to read 😂👌🏻edged really well also I opted to blot it to the front to age it more and give it a more vintage feel. Though they looked great just as they were. Steal at the price and great for Halloween 🎃

1950’s style zombie pictures and a highly accurate deck of tarot cards. In a nutshell I love this tarot deck. I’ve been reading the cards for over a decade and while the mote traditional cards are the ones that I mostly used to use, I’ve started to introduce unique cards for my clients to choose from and the younger generation, mostly millennials love these. Please don’t let the few 1 star reviews put you off. They are just moaning for no reason or for a small error in packaging. They really should review the cards properly. Highly recommend them for beginners and adepts.

The Zombie Tarot is so well done. Love the vintage scenes and the cards are nice and smooth. Perfect deck for October but I think it is fantastic anytime. Som much fun.

Är du inte nybörjare inom Tarot så är detta en riktigt kul kortlek! Väldigt unik på så vis att den blandar Zombies och 50-tals klassiker i ett Taro kortlek. Sett ett par udda kortlekar genom åren men denna är nog den mest udda! Passar inte alla i smaken men, jag gillar den! Relativt tjocka kort i lagom hård plast även. För det lilla priset är denna absolut värd!

This is a very interesting and well made deck....printing packaging, artwork are all top quality. The card stock is sturdy though not very 'bendy', and shuffles well if done with moderate pressure.The booklet is precise and very funny.....makes one laugh at the wit....and it presents both the light and shadow attributes in the same paragraph. There are no key words or affirmations but that only enjoins upon me to look deep into the cards for clues in the imagery. There are plenty of factors to view and stimulate intuition, and this is where I find the value in the deck. The images speak volumes and will fire up the imagination of anyone with visual understanding. So many times they give messages regarding health, psychological states, warnings etc over and above the traditional meanings.The pack follows the RW line of thought but has its own spin on things which seem divergent at times. For example, the three of cups shows a newly married couple instead of three friends celebrating harvest. If one can reorient to these alterations, instead of rigidly holding on to RW meanings, then this will yield dividends. The point of using different decks IS to get different storylines in order to give multi facetted readings, and this deck serves this purpose well.
