The wallet is great! Amazon's order fulfillment is not. I had to order a replacement because they shipped me the wrong wallet the first time. I love how slim it is. The trigger is smooth and makes it very easy to get to my cards. I came from a ridge which was nice and compact but getting your cards out was a bit of a pain.

Update: Ekster customer service deserves 5 stars. Whoever is monitoring Amazon reviews at the company was quick to contact me regarding my review. I appreciate the quick response and the dedication to their work. I received a replacement of the defective wallet in less than two weeks after writing the review. I'm still happy with the product and hope it will last. Thank you again. I was happy with this purchase when it was delivered. It was slim, sleek, and it looked sturdy. It was perfect for traveling because it could fit in your front pocket and it wouldn't crowd you while traveling for 24 hours. It held enough cards to give you options for purchases and hold necessary identification. It was perfect for what I needed. That is until today when I accidentally dropped from my desk. There were no marks on the case so I thought everything was fine until I tried to press the card release button and nothing happened. The button pressed all the way in and my cards were stuck in the wallet. I finally removed my cards and a little white plastic piece fell out of the wallet. (See attached photo.) So I now have a wallet that is useless. I would have expected more from a product for the price. I am unable to receive any help because the window to return or receive help is closed.

my husband liked this product because of its convenience in handling many cards in a very small space. I really dont know why it broke so soon, probably it felt on the floor and the mechanism was impacted. I am buying another!

I have to say, the Ekster wallet is pretty life changing. It easily holds my ID, 4 raised cards, and my AMEX platinum with no issues to the release function. I like the elastic money band, but the back plating to keep any money in place is very very flimsy. Really the one of two negatives about the wallet (unless you're putting quite a fill bills in, you may worry about items becoming loose). 2nd negative? The wallet easily gets scuffed up, scratched, and/or fingerprints. Not the end of the world if you're in it for function vs visual appeal. Personally I bought this as a lighter (and secure) option for when I travel. Extra benefit has been the release mechanism, very fun to play with but also great for quick access.

Im going to start things off by saying I did receive a faulty unit, it happens but also the wrong configuration (not ekster fault but Amazon) but the mechanism was getting stuck when trying to engage it. Ekster responded immediately, I sent a video and the representative sent me a brand new unit. Not just a new unit but upgraded me to the pro model, which I didn't know existed unit I went to the Ekster store and realized the pro has a metal switch instead of plastic, which would be my only complaint about the standard but still performs perfectly. Not many companies stand behind the products they put out but also value and support their costumer base the way Ekster does. Yes you're paying a premium but what you get is a lifetime warranty and rest assured if anything happens to your product they will make things right, no excuses, no BS or splitting hairs they will take care of you. Don't go with the clones, the cheap price might be tempting but with a lifetime warranty you buy one and your good if anything happens. Superb quality and even better company. I appreciate the RFID blocker, it is slim, looks great at first. It will get noticeably scratched up quickly and easily. I REALLY DO like the design and function of the wallet but it is not worth 100$. A year ago I bought the cheaper black one that has the elastic band. I have one debit card that has the raised numbers and you have to use the band for those types of cards. I was also keeping a couple gift cards in the band. The day I removed those gift cards I found out the band was no longer able to secure my debit card without the extra gift cards. It was at this point I decided to look into replacing it. I decided to purchase the more expensive model that comes with a different type of band. This band looked to be made of a rubber and I figured since it costs more it must be more durable. The band was indeed stronger and I am sure it would not have stretched out over time like the cheaper model but I will never know because after one week the rubber band began to split and eventually came apart. I'm about 99% sure that the edge of the backplate is what caused the split from simply being sat on. I'm beginning to think this wallet isn't meant to be put in your back pocket because the first one I bought dented inward causing the ejector button to get stuck occasionally.

This is an outstanding wallet. It performs as stated. With covid-19, I use very little cash.

I was searching for a minimalist everyday carry (EDC) wallet and compared options like Ridge, Double Oak, Ekster, and others. I found that Ekster stands out the most in terms of design and style, and the card ejector mechanism is fantastic. When I tried to purchase these wallets from their official site, I discovered that we would have to pay 100% in customs charges on top of the wallet costs, which is insane. However, I was pleased to find them available on Amazon India, and to my surprise, they turned out to be original brand wallets at a decent price. Note: Those transitioning from traditional wallets to EDCs may experience a learning curve, especially when it comes to carrying cash. There are many supporting accessories available for these EDC wallets, but unfortunately, they are not available for purchase in India. I plan to buy accessories like the AirTag cash clip when I go abroad. If you tend to carry less cash and prefer digital payments, an EDC wallet is a must-have.
