Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom brings you nonstop thrills and excitement like nothing you’ve ever experienced. Indy (Harrison Ford), his sidekick Short Round (Ke Huy Quan), and nightclub singer Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw) go from high-flying action above the Himalayas to a nail-biting runaway mine car chase and finally a spine-tingling escape from a fortress-like mine in India. Hang on tight as the world’s ultimate action hero takes you on a heart-pumping roller-coaster ride of adventure that’s guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat. Review: An 80’s classic! - An underrated gem of the 80's, An amazing adventure not to be missed and indescribably classic in every sense of the word. I’ve recently become a huge fan of the Indiana Jones franchise and unlike most fans, consider Temple of Doom to be an integral part of the series and one of my partners favourite films ever! Set one year before Raiders of the Lost Ark (In 1935), Temple of Doom's plot doesn't revolve around the Nazis and takes a darker route. This time Indiana teams up with a club singer named Willie and ten year old, Asian boy named Short-Round. After a treasure deal goes wrong the three escape in a plane which turns out to be a trap, causing them to do a death defying escape which ends them up in India. When the poor village people their warn them of the mysterious temple, missing stone and the horrible loss of their children, the three set off to discover the temple. The plot just gets darker and more action packed from there! Harrison Ford returns in his signature role as Indina Jones and is still the tough as nails archaeologist he was in Raiders. Short Round is a lovable and has great chemistry with Indy, and during the film he becomes one of the most memorable sidekicks ever. Willie, is a typical damsel in distress, who spends the movie screaming, shouting, complaining and moaning, but this is just a throwback to the 'B' movies, the Indiana Jones films are inspired by. Bollywood mega villain Amrish Puri portrays the role of the creepy Mola Ram and is fantastic in this International feature. From start to finish the film is filled with tons of exciting & memorable moments, classic set-pieces and amazing stunt and camera work. With a snow ball pacing that gradually gets bigger and better as it goes along, the movie is pretty much impossible not to enjoy. The score is a rather good mix and with the creative and memorable camera work makes the film even better and gives an exhilarating experience. I can't stress this enough, but Temple of Doom is a must see for any fan of film series. Some say it's too dark (The heart scene)and the sillier moments ruined it, (The exotic but revolting dinner scene), but the experience for me was never spoilt and the dark/revolting/shocking moments just made the movie better. With an exciting feel, great action, fast pace, amazing set-pieces & effects and timeless feel the film getsa very high recommendation. Not to be missed! Classic, Adventurous and Evergreen
Temple of Doom is again a great adventure of Indiana, with a little touch of Indian culture... The most beautiful out of all beautiful aspects of "Indiana Jones" franchise is the purity and realness of its characters, their remarkable acting. There was not a moment in this film to be missed. Every moment was happening. Most importantly, you can enjoy it with your family after dinner...

Not my favourite
The woman in this film, is a pain. All that screaming, very off putting. Most of this film is good, if you can get past her self absorbed character, it's funny especially the little boy, he's quite a character. Could have been great, hence only 4stars.
