I used to consider RAM products to be the best. Not since 2022! Fanaue products are better built, innovative, more solid, and I believe them to be top of the mark! I've had RAM products fail recently, and due to the aluminum construction, I expect Fanaue to outlive them!!! And, I'm supporting a start up business!

The ball is a separated piece from the shock absorber therefore is subject to loosening by torque. In addition, the shock absorber does not provide an interface that is interoperable with general purposed phone holders or adapters. In short, even though this product is made of quality material and with excellent workmanship, it is not usable when it's used alone due to limitation of its interface nor it is reliable enough when it's used with the ball together due to the screwable joint.

Bought this for mounting on my motorcycle with another Fanaue phone mount (CPC-08), installed very easy and has worked flawlessly, you can really tell when riding that it's taking most if not all of the vibration out and the phone is very clear to view. Has great build quality and is well priced, I've purchased several Fanaue products now and I actually prefer them to RAM products now, much better value for money

This item seems to work great and at a great price. Locktite does need to be used to secure the ball assembly to the plate>

Use this mount on back of my machined cell phone mount on my Spyder. Fantastic vibration protection

Bought to mount my motorcycle satnav to the screen. I drilled one hole though the windscreen and secured it. Used Sugru to adhere the bottom. I love the fact that it has built in rubbers on the screws which reduces any vibrations and works perfectly. So good, I bought another.
