It is quite big.
To be honest, I bought the Cozyna Air Fryer XL (5.8QT) because it is large and it was on sale! This is my first experience with an “air fryer” as I had only heard about them; not from people who had used one but from sales ads and flyers.I'm giving 5 stars because I think the Cozyna Air Fryer that I purchased is a nicely construction appliance. I can’t see it giving me any problems at all. Cleaning hasn't been too much of a problem, I believe cleaning the heating coil will be the hardest chore and that won't be hard. The basket and main heating tub clean up quite easily. As for versatility, it seems to have a decent range, but I haven’t cooked a full range of items yet because I’m still on a learning curve, never fear! I’ll get there, and so far I truly enjoy using it!And now I'll contradict myself. I mainly wanted an air fryer for the “ease” of operation, but I guess some items are not meant to be “fried” in the “air fryer!” But that just means that other air fryers would be just as limited as the Cozyna Air Fryer. SO I feel that my five stars are still good on vesatility! (it took me 15 minutes to scrape the bread-batter-stuff off the frozen battered squash I wanted to try –they crisped right up when I re battered them with a drierflour version. So I just won't bother with pre battered squash. Okra and "Veggie Made" fries crisped up ok also!I’m going to try the salmon recipe on Wednesday or Thursday this week… it sounds really good!I do wish that there was a more detailed list of what cannot be used in the fryer, but otherwise, the instructions and recipes are quite clear.

A pretty awesome compliment to an Instant Pot for fast food
I just got this about a week ago after several strong recommendations from foodie friends who took my earlier advice on getting an Instant Pot. My goal is to make all weeknight dinners in 30 minutes or less and with minimal effort. This air fryer fits the bill. My first meal was a 16oz ribeye steak, and while not *exactly* the same as grilled, I got a medium-rare steak with decent searing on it in 12 minutes. I've also done hot wings a few different ways and the biggest highlight is that you can put frozen wings in the basket and just add time, and they wings still come out pretty crispy (and not oily). I tried bacon and I'd rate it a B+, but think I can get it exactly how I like it with a few tweaks to the process. I haven't tried anything breaded but I'm gluten free so I'll have to defer to others on those types of items. So far I've had no food smoking (just add a few teaspoons of water into the drippings tray under the food basket, and any oily foods are good to go with no smoking. The basket and tray are easy to clean, even easier if you line the bottom of the tray portion with tin foil (don't block the basket vents though, may affect cooking time/quality I've heard)!Overall hugely satisfied ESPECIALLY for the price, no need for something crazy pricey when it does the same thing. In terms of interface, very basic and has a high-temp limit of 400 degrees, with a temperature select dial and a timer that goes up to 30 minutes.Strongly recommend!

Best Appliance I have ever purchased!
Update to update 11/15/2018: Called company. So helpful! They sent me new baskets. Received within days. Product works excellent and I use it all the time. The Teflon on the first basket was a fluke. The new ones work great and show no signs of flaking after several months of heavy use. Love this product and their customer service.Update: Purchased 6/21/18, as of today the coating on both the basket and the drawer is peeling off and I can no longer use this product because the coating is left on my food. It is past the 30 day refund period and I was instructed to contact the manufacturer. I wasted my money!Best Appliance I have ever purchased! If you are on the fence as to whether you need a air fryer or not, do not hesitate. Buy one! I chose the Cozyna because of the size and reviews. There is one with a stainless basket, without the Teflon coating, but it is $200 more. This one meets all my needs and then some. I am enjoying not using the oven in the summer and the speed in which it cooks everything. Not too mention how the food tastes! Crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Bacon! Flat perfectly cooked slices without having to hover over to keep from burning. And no splattered grease. Baked sweet potatoes, baked chicken, roasted veggies, you name it!
