Arctic Farms Freeze Dried Ice Cream that Does Not Melt (Neapolitan, 1 Ounce)

these are really good, but so light and airy you can eat the whole bag in one sitting.

That was so delicious, I would like to eat it all day.

Having never tried "astronaut ice cream" before, my kids were curious what it was like so I ordered this pack because it was already broken into chunks. Let's just say they weren't impressed and immediately said "I'd rather have real ice cream". Having not had freeze dried ice cream since I myself was a kid, I also gave it a try and also was somewhat disappointed. It's a fun novelty to try once but this is expensive. It's $6.99 for 1 ounce or 28 grams which comes out to $0.25 a gram. $3-4 a pack would be a more reasonable price for what you get.

The taste was a bit chalky, I got the Neapolitan flavor, hopefully the other flavors are better. However it still tastes like ice cream and I love the texture of these freeze dried candies. Will go for a different flavor next time.

This dehydrated ice cream is different and that it's frozen in scoops so there's portions of it that are very thick and hard to bite through the flavor overall on all three flavors vanilla strawberry and chocolate was all excellent some of the pieces just are hard to bite they're not like the regular style that I've had before where is the thin sheet that's broken and sharp edges so it's good and bad for me it was too hard

My daughter asked me for this 10 years ago after a trio to the Nasa center and then my other daughter just asked for some! So I decided to try it myself this time! The texture is like EATING CHALK THAT TURNS CREAMY & SWEET! It does turn back into a mouthful of creamy sweetness and is quite enjoyable! I was afraid it would taste like those baby food shelf Banana drops things that are tangy and stick to your teeth as they melt (if you're not a baby of course). But this is not like that - the chewing chalk part is the same but the taste is REALLY good. Its worth trying for the price but to keep buying it at that price to me is wild. Maybe for a pound bag of it yeah lol So I enjoyed trying it out.

It tastes great. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but it’s not worth $7. It brought me right back to my childhood being at the space museum and eating astronaut Ice cream, and I am grateful for that, however I wouldn’t spend $7 on it again. lol. It’s a tiny little bag with 1 serving in it that isn’t very big. If it’s something you are buying and you know what it is then that’s on you. Personally, I enjoyed it, but I regret spending $7 and I won’t do it again. So it’s not that good.

The product was alright. Not really sure what I expected.
