I am returning this item. The clip doesn't stay attached so it doesn't do its job. I was very disappointed with this product!

I've spent so much money on expensive alarms and I know that they were not worth it. They just gave me frustration. Hard to use and complicated settings. Then, tried cheaper alarms and they went dead in days of using them and manufacturer provided no help whatsoever. NewU is a mid range alarm and we gave this a try. Considering this is our fourth alarm, it did the job. The alarm is loud and vibrates well. M son sleeps so deep that even a freight train wont wake him up, so I wasn't surprised when NewU didn't wake him up wither. I stuck with the plan and kept waking him up. Then a few weeks later, he just woke up on his own, disoriented at night, but awake to realize he wet the bed. As weeks progressed, he did better and better. Hes turning 7 next month and hes stopped wetting. We are so proud of him and hes super excited too. Don't spend your money on overpriced alarm, get NewU. it works!

The clip that clips to the alarm part to the child's shirt is hard to get on. There's no way to open the clip to make it slide on the pajamas more easily. And the clip with the moisture sensor just grabs a little piece of the fabric, so it comes off easily. I think that it because it only grabs a little tiny piece of the fabric, it doesn't always sense when the child is peeing. There are nights where the alarm never goes off but my child has in fact wet the bed. Not happy with this product.

I love how easy it is to clip this on and off. I also love how you can pull the cord off to stop the alarm since this makes it easy for my son to take care of on his own. I also really enjoy the way there are 3 alarm options. My son is a deep sleeper but we would use the alarm with the buzzer and he would wake up. We tried another alarm system first and he NEVER wakes up to it. The only problem we had with this product is that it wasn't comfortable and you have to clip it to a shirt. My son likes to just wear underwear so an alarm that fits around on a band that fits around his arm or wrist is more comfortable. He found this alarm to be bulky and uncomfortable.

The sensor works great but the clip to clip to child's clothes is very hard on your fingers. I struggled to put it on every time.

This product will only work if you're CONSISTENT. My daughter was a chronic, every single night bed wetter up until a couple months ago. She has also always been a profoundly deep sleeper, so we think this had a lot to do with her inability to wake up when she needed to pee. We tried everything: no drinks 2-3 hours before bed, lots of bathroom breaks between dinner and bedtime, setting our alarm clocks to wake us up so we could wake HER up to pee in the middle of the night, etc. Someone even suggested not having her wear pull ups for a couple weeks so she wakes up in a puddle and "maybe that'll teach her" type methods...Which was the worst advice we were ever given. Nothing worked or helped at all. By the time she was 5, we took her to the Dr who told us she would grow out of it. A year later, we took her back to the Dr who told us the same thing and to just try all the same methods that we had already tried over and over again. By the time she was 7 years old, she was frustrated and ashamed. Also, envious of other children who could wake up dry every morning and was always nervous during sleepovers because she'd have to sneak off to the bathroom and put a pull up on in secret. Her brother was potty trained and waking up dry on his own since before he turned 2, so that didn't help her confidence either. We felt so bad for her, so we began the search for a bed alarm, even though we were quite skeptical of them. This was the first and only bed alarm we bought and it fixed her bedwetting in about 6 weeks. She is now successfully waking up dry all on her own every morning. It's easy to operate/hook up, the alarm is LOUD (and I mean loud like a smoke-detector) but luckily there is a silent vibrate setting and it woke her up just fine. The only complaint my daughter had was that it was a little uncomfortable (the alarm hooks onto shirt and the sensor hooks onto underwear.) But in the end it was well worth the temporary awkwardness. I highly recommend this product. Just be patient and don't give up. Good luck

Useless piece of crap

Avoid this item, lucky I tried it out before I attached to my son. The batteries became so hot once inserted that I couldn't handle them for 5 mins afterwards. This item was certainly a fire hazard and plead with people do not risk your child getting a nasty burn at the minimum or else causing a fire in their bedroom Dangerous Dangerous product, dont know how it got its CE CERT
