I don't know if I got a poor batch, but what I ordered was very rough - unlike any other merino I have knitted with. I was si concerned about it, I did a burn test. I can tell you the yarn is wool. That's about it.I wouldn't buy this again and I would have returned it if I hadn't opened the package and tried to use it.I'll donate the rest to a thrift store.
