Trying again
I have a love-hate relationship with Havainas flip flops. The main drawback is that they tend to break apart (the central toe plug) sometimes after just a few weeks of infrequent wear. It might just be my posture, or maybe I got a unrecognized underlying motoric impediment.. On the other hand, compared to other flip flops they look nice, fit well and most importantly offer good support and elasticity to the heels. So with a little browsing I was able to find a colourful pair at half the retail price, which made it worth to give it another (6th) try. And I must say, having worn some other low quality brand for 6 months I'm very pleased to walk around with these Havainas again - as long as it lasts.

Well made flip flops only kind of will buy. I'm a lifeguard and used a pair for the a whole season and they lasted the whole time with not a single foot indent in the flipflop foam :)
